Al Gore has held the second highest elective office in the US. Any cabinet or ambassadorial post (which requires approval by the Senate) would be demeaning to most people in that position. If he gets officially involved in global warming programs, he should divest himself of any stocks or company offices which might make money from anything he may help design or enforce.
