Not so funny as indicative of his assumptive personality. Assumptions about others or situations save us the trouble of actually thinking out the real reasons or motives behind real world events. Cause and effect are essentially tossed to the wind for the easier answer that requires less thought and fits more smoothly into the preconceptions that are firmly rooted in the individual psyche and not easily dislodged from the true believer. Whatever that means.
While calling someone else an idiot he mispelled ain't. I called him on that for just about everything he posts is not only wrong but intentionally takes blame away from those who killed friends of mine as well as fellow Americans. He defends mass murders and then shifts blame on a political party hoping to get members/supporters of another political party to jump on his band wagon. His band wagon is laden with explosive lies posing as debate or free speech and is only meant to destory.
Pretty hung up on that (BTW you are incorrect). Since "aint" is not a real word we have to defer to common usage and as you can see both spellings are popular. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=aint
If I understand you correctly Andy, you are asserting that everything Danr posts is wrong, he intentionally takes blame away from people that have killed your friends as well as killed other Americans, he defends mass murder and then blames an unidentified political party in an effort to sway people from some other unidentified political party to join him on his bandwagon, and while on that bandwagon these recently converted unidentified politically associated people are bombed with explosive lies that are disguised as a debate or even worse free speech all with the sinister purpose of some sort of destruction. For all these reason you have felt compelled to call him on the misspelling of the word ain't. Andy, you vicious animal you! BTW You misspelled “misspelled” and “destroy”
It was the irony of his misspelling of the word ain't with in the context of the post that he made. As for his mispresentation of facts you know as well as most people here what he posts. He himself even stated around nine months or so about going to a Nation of Islam gathering. So that says alot about where his head is at. As for being a animal. I am. I know what I am capable of doing. The trick is never to enjoy it. As for my spelling I could care less. I've done quite well for someone who was born and raised in garbage neighborhoods and in a neighborhood across the street from the then worlds largest garbage dump.
I was just pulling your chain Andy. I just thought it was kind of funny that you assailed Danr for some pretty heinous acts and felt that calling him on the misspelling of a word or non-word would even the score somehow.
I gave up reading Danr's posts (love that ignore feature)...and frankly, I enjoy the forum much better. At least I can expect a well articulated response from the likes of Meon and Rick who are versed at formulating a complete sentence. Heaven knows I hardly agree with them, but at least they keep the debate spirited and interesting. Of course they are wrong and I am right... ...but you are not going to find that many educated liberals with a decent command of historical perspectives. Actually, Meon has forced me to make sure my sentences and grammar are in check. People judge you by the words you use and your ability to communicate. That is what I enjoy about this forum. As much as people out there think I am "whacked", it is just a small outlet to practice on you guys before it is carried out over beers with my liberal buddies. I can't tell you how many times they ask me, "where do you get this stuff?" For the idiot out out in the Arizona desert, I can only take so much that 9/11 was not carried forward by muslim radicals and it is all Bush's fault. I am not concerned about the likes of him as "natural selection" will deal with him. (Stoppig to smell the roses) I am sure Danr will make great fertilizer some day.
Would that be the Atlantic, Gulf or Pacific? (France would qualify also I guess)
A Housing Project in the East New York Section of Brooklyn and a working class neighborhood a stones throw away from the worlds largest landfill in Staten Island. Talk about smell. No one had air conditioning back then and in the summer it was so hot that we had to open the windows in hope of catching a breeze but usually the smell was all that we got to take our minds off the heat. Had a lot of good friends in both places. Some never got to see my age and others are worth millions. Got to love America. It is a place where anything can happen as long as people ensure its existance.
I have a long and hard chain to pull Moen. Did I tell you my wife wants a fourth kid. I am sure I did "but now you know the rest of the story" You right Midas and thank you for the advice on the ignore option. I can take any kind of talk except fighting talk when no fight can take place. It is one thing to accuse the president of being a bad president and is an American issue to debate. It is Anti-American to lie and play with facts by stating that the president had the Towers taken down and skirting the issue away from those responsible and who want to set off nukes in our cities. That crossed the line with me. As for spelling, we could have a debate on that. All I know is I made my money on the stock market, still am, and in my own real estate dealings and the only thing I needed to spell correctly was my signature.
Again there were no misspellings. Aint is as incorrect/correct as ain't (since both are improper). You made a big deal out of something when you were wrong (you do that often).
LOL well, we try to do our best. While it is true that conservatives are well-known backwards thinkers, it is the future that is of greater importance than the past because we are never going to live in the world of the past again while we will eventually have to live in the world of the future. Lessons from the past are important of course but the past can not be continually used as a reason not to move forward. I know from experience that wealthy people are comfortable in the present, reminiscent of the past, and a bit leery of the future. I've always viewed people in this position as attempting to insulate themselves from the future which logically is impossible and a personal strategy that is bound to fail. Not intentionally Midas. But you are absolutely correct about how you are viewed by others when you do not communicate effectively. I feel that even though I make a living using the written word, I have improved my writing abilities just practicing on you guys. And next time you are in the bar with your buddies, buy them a drink on me...I'll owe ya. My opinion is that you guys should find it in your hearts to cut Danr some slack. He isn't so unlike either of you. He may have a different point of view but he isn't any less passionate about what he believes than either of you are. He cares enough to go out there and discuss the issues (How many folks don't care enough to even do that?). There are a lot of reasons that 9/11 is George Bush's fault but they are not the conspiracy theory advocated for by Danr for sure. I have said before that I feel that there are extreme points of view expressed here as they are expressed anywhere else in this country on both the Right and the Left. It is important to remember that if we were all in the middle, that we'd never make any progress as a society and would begin to stagnate. Eventually, we'd become Europe and I know none of you wants that. Sorry Europe, but you asked for it.
