Very funny. Nevertheless, the shadow around his face seems a bit too
sharp, and that suggests it's a doctored photo. If it is, it's
skillfully done.

It's a real photo. There were several taken that night at Dimples. I believe
it was a friend's birthday party. But it was several years ago. Prior to the
start of 24.

It's real. The waitress who had just delivered their drinks somehow
managed to knock a lit jar candle full of melted wax in Kiefer's lap.
He whipped everthing off before he got burned, then calmly proceeded
to finish his drink while the wax cooled. Some moralistic patron took
exception (without any knowledge of the facts) to his actions and
called the cops.

apparenttly, it was keifer sutherland;s "skid mark" since he said he
cleand off his monitor and it was still theyre.

That's one of the most imaginative celebrity explanations I've ever
read. The "finish his drink while the wax cooled" is a little weak,
since most people would find a way to cover themselves up, ask a
waiter for a towel, whatever. But still, it's a doozy!
