That would be scary, all right. My worst experience was off Oahu, Hawaii. Went on a night dive hunting for lobster and got partnered with someone I didn't know. He had a problem equalizing when we went down so we went back to the surface. We were alone and spent several hours floating around in the dark before the dive boat finally found us.
