I think whats sadder than the kid's fashion sense is that his mama didn't teach him no manners. Especially when speaking to a stranger. Some people would have b***h slapped that boy.
The only thing you can criticize the kid for is being able to 'read'! After all when an adult (term used loosely) advertised like that, what do you expect? I would have done more than that if I had met such a individual, after all that is what bug spray is for, isn't it?
The Air Force designed a PT uniform a few years back and the biggest complaint is the short shorts. It is almost like a 1970ies basketball short in length. They run small in size too. They are pretty much universally despised by the guys as not being particularly manly looking nor comfortable. In order to not put on a frank and beans show for everyone, you either have to wear the sweat pants, black spandex underneath or buy them 3 sizes too big.
Chuckle, I retired before they were mandatory. I did enjoy the morning calisthenics formations with the sun rising and all. At 20 below until our new group commander (from Langley) realized some of us were getting frostbite...
Same here Ben. I enjoyed PT too, though the last couple of years my feet/knee/ankle pretty much kept me on a profile. Since I couldn't run any longer, I took up power walking, I'd still end up passing people half my age during wing/group runs. Unfortunately, calling something one doesn't like 'gay' is part of the vernacular with many of today's youth. We tried to teach our kids better, and they wouldn't use profane or vulgar language when in earshot, but I'm sure they did when amongst their peers.
