"The Chief Counsel of Norfolk said, Tony shouldn't have used his gun, he should have yelled for help."

Too little too late , the one person said it , We have been apathetic far too long and are now paying the price ...duh.. you think ?
The government sucessfully disarmed the population , theres no chance they will re arm them.
The same people who squawked to ban guns enmasse protesting to get them back..gimme a break , they made the bed so best they get in it.

I believe it all began with the Dunblane incident , a guy walked into a primary school and opened fire.
A lot was swept under the carpet with that incident , the guy was made out to be a lunatic but how did he get his handgun firearm clearance?
Friends in high places was how.
Its so crazy there last i heard they were screaming to ban bb guns and air rifles.
A firearm certificate was required to own a Co2 air gun , i dont know if they banned them too but its likely they did.
Many long time respectable gun owners had to relenquish the hobby and surrender thier arms, while in the same year the marksmen championships with handguns was being held in Manchester, competitors from all over Europe and the world for all i know.
The end result was that law abiding hobbyists handed in thier guns and the criminals kept thiers , doesnt take a genius to figure out that gun crime escalated.

Strict British gun laws worked wonders in Northern Ireland during "The Troubles", kept bad guns off the streets, and kept terrorism nice and low... NOT!

There are those who would argue theres no such thing as a bad gun , its the person using it that makes decisions in how it will be used.

Personally im far happier being armed to the teeth for home protection , i dont take any gun outside.Break into my home in dead of night and i at least have a chance of survival.
