You must feel very passionate about this topic for some reason. I wasn't attacking your position and as a matter of fact my very first sentence was "I have to agree with you both, somewhat anyway." I said that you're right about Arab forces being larger (paraphrasing myself) and that they certainly have much more wealth collectively than Israel. I only disagree that even with superior numbers and greater wealth that they would come out on top of a conflict with Israel because the Israelis have a very significant trump card in their nuclear weapons. I can assure you that Israel has deliverable nuclear weapons and has had them for quite a while. Would they use them? I don't really know but the Middle East question would be moot after that point anyway for at least for the next 10,000 years. How awful for the rest of eh?
I also personally believe that the Israelis are much more organized and far better fights than any group of Arabs you can name. That's just my opinion.

P.S. After several instances of including the correct spelling of Israel by several members in various posts you were still spelling (look above) it Israil. I and everyone else are guilty of misspelling from time to time. It's no big deal. It just seemed since it was a redundant word in the topic as well as a major country to boot and only six letters long...I...probably shouldn't have made an issue out of it. Sorry.

Once again you don't get it. For all of the weapons that Israel has developed or given by the US, the bottom line is that they know if they lose a battle, the women and children in the towns and cities behind them will be raped and murdered and if they lose a war, they will all die. That is what makes them able to withstand the ground forces against them, they must at the very least hold their ground.

What you describe is certainly an important part of their military prowess.

All I can say about the presence of nuclear weapons is this:

There are currently five states considered to be "nuclear weapons states", an internationally recognized status conferred by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). In order of acquisition of nuclear weapons these are: the United States of America, Russia (formerly the Soviet Union), the United Kingdom, France, and the People's Republic of China. Since the formulation of the NPT, two non-signatory states of the NPT have conducted nuclear tests—India and Pakistan. Israel is also strongly suspected to have an arsenal of nuclear weapons though it has never confirmed or denied this, and there have been reports that over 100 nuclear weapons might be in its inventory. This status is not formally recognised by international bodies; none of these countries is currently signatories of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. South Africa was once a nuclear weapons state but has since destroyed its arsenal. North Korea has publicly declared itself to possess nuclear weapons though it has not conducted any confirmed tests and its ultimate status is still unknown. Iran has been accused by Western nations of attempting to develop uranium enrichment technology for weapons purposes.

I don't know what you mean by nuclear capable but this list speaks for itself. Not too many of Israel's neighbors on the list.

Moen where exactly do you think those on that list are based?? they are all well within easy delivery range using a airoplane for christ sake, how much convincing do you honestly think it would take to get a pilot or two to fly a suiside mission?? All the states that I have named with the exception of Syria are allready in possesion of working nuclear reactors. Some of them are known to produce the B & C of ABC (I assume you know what that is) and do you still want to tell me that Israel is more powerful than the entire Arab World combined!!

    De Orc :D
Oh by the way Nuclear capable means that Israel see's them as having the potential of launching a attack.

  7. Moen1305

    Moen1305 Not Republican!

There is huge difference between having nuclear power plants and having weapons grade nuclear material. I haven't said that Israel is more powerful than the entire Arab world combined. I understand why you might take what I said that way but, I said that with nuclear weapons at it's disposal, Israel holds the ultimate trump card. Besides, you can't find two Arab countries that even talk to each other much less Arab countries that would be willing to band together to fight Israel. A couple of them are civil to each other but that hardly constitutes the alliance you'd need to get rid of Israel.

    De Orc :D
Do you mean a nuclear attack? Without nukes? How would they do that?

  8. Danr

    Danr New Member

    To be real about it:
    Isreal DOES have nukes.
Brazil is closer than any middle Eastern country.
    Syria are doing something.
South Africa had them but gave them up.
    N. Korea has something but it may not work.
Iran have good engineers and tech and with Paki or Russian help they could put it together.

Forgot about the nukes for now...the main issue is that islam is a "weed" that is spreading. It has to stop. These people live for the sole pupose of converting more people in dirty night shirts to islam...or by enslaving, taxing or KILLING those that don't devote their life to this terrible religion.

Yes, they want nuclear weapons and will use them in a blink of an eye. They have to be right only one time to succeed, we need to be right ALL of the time.

Bush FINALLY used the term "radical islam" in his state of the union address, but I feel that he is falling way short. He really needs to call this war for what it is...a war against islamic terrorists...not terrorists, not insurgents, but ISLAMIC terrorists. He needs to call these people what they REALY are so more people can wake up and understand what our true enemy is all about.

I know what our enemy is about. The question is do people that wish to "redeploy" really understand how insane these people are that our troops are fighting against, and hopefully killing??

Syria & Egypt 1973 joined together in a political union the big problem was they did not realy have the same political outlook :D then there was the United Arab Army in 1949 (Lacked seriouse Command & Control though LOL) so it is quite fesable, even though I do agree that it is unlikely. But (and here is the scary scinerio) what if Iran gets it's way and merges with Iraq then you start to get a Religious rather than a political union? just think about this we allready have a leader in Iran who has some rather exotic ideas, you then have the beginings of a Muslim super state.

Can I lend you a bucket of water? Because clearly, your hair is STILL on fire. Do you ever think or talk about anything else other than Muslims? You remind me of those crazy guys that walks around talking to themselves and predicting the end of the world. You actually turn more people off to what you are saying than if you had said nothing at all. The Muslims are coming! The Muslims are coming! Run for your lives! Sound familar?

P.S. Look at their weapons of choice in your pictures. Might as well have the U.N. good house keeping seal of approval. We just keep arming them.

You see Meon, there are people like you that think nothing of what is happening in the muslim world and their present day jihad. To "hope" that it goes away and your muslim brothers will never bother you is just that..."hope".

I like to point out that after research and the Koran's own passges (100 plus), the actions and will of islamic people need to be taken seriously. If I converted just ONE person to finally understand what our enemy is all about, then I succeeded. I will never be able to convince people like you, Danr or Rick because you truly believe we have nothing to worry about the muslim world.

I have history on my side. I have their own Koran's passages on my side proving my point and more importantly, I have their ACTIONS demonstrating what islam is all about. Some people need to take their head out of the sand and wake up!

Better bring a bunch of buckets because there are 1.2 billion muslims out keeping the fire alive.

And most of mine as well.
I can not speak for Midas but I do not wonder why someone would post about the islamic bloodletting but why more people are not concerned.
The mindset behind the car bombing overseas yesterday is the same mindset that wants to unleash nukes in our nation tommorrow.

And there are people like you who think about nothing else.
    Yes you do.
Given your relentless ranting, I feel that goal is a little too optimistic.
Honestly, you've made some good points and some bad points but, overall, even your good points just become part of the background noise of droning fanaticism.

How many people have said that before?
Just because the rest of us aren't as myopically transfixed on the "Evil Islamic Empire" as you seem to be, doesn't mean that we are unaware or uninformed. We are just not able or willing to see everything in the black and white format in which you view everything. Maybe seeing everything that way makes it easier for you but you don't get the whole picture either.

    Thanks for the heads up.

Moen if a mad man was walking the streets and killing people, would you go up to a policeman and ask him how the weather is like today. If a group of armed thugs were knocking on your door would you put on the TV to see the ball game. If an army of rapists and murders are speaking and plotting your death, would you want them to have free uncensored unregulated control usage of the phone and even pay their bills.
Well that is how I see it and others who are making posts regarding what we see to be the greatest threat to the human race since the virus.

So enlighten us Danr...show us how islam is peaceful and understanding of other faiths. Please do...

Please show us that the vast majority of terrorists in this world are NOT followers of islam. Please do...

Please show us that over 95% of the world's conflicts do not involve the muslim faith. Please do...

Please refute all of the Koran's passage (100 plus) that I outlined by verse and chapter in my previous posts are NOT of hate and violence toward infidels, Christians and Jews. Please do...

I can't wait for this one...go ahead Danr...the floor is yours!

    We're waiting...
