If people start demanding the airlines to start PROFILING Muslim-looking passengers and give them an extra look-over then people will stop the PC BS and understand who it is that is attacking us. I really don't care if that offends a Muslim, bc the chances of a plane exploding from the sky significantly rises when a Muslim is on board.
How do you profile a muslim looking passenger? Muslims are not a race they are a religion and come in all colours sizes and shapes, all this does in antagonise people and I am sorry to say reminds me of the Yellow Star system. De Orc
Ok, Arabian-looking, whatever. Ask those passengers how they knew these suspicious looking guys were Arabic or Muslims. They seem to have done it very well. The difference in comparing the Yellow Stars to this is that we are trying protect ourselves from Arabs who want to kill us. You have to use some common sense as to why this ought to be done, the majority of terrorists are Muslims, therefore if we applied common sense we would be profiling them and anyone who fits the description. That is exactly what I was commenting about. Until Christians, Jews, (add a religion and their race as you see fit) start blowing themselves up on planes we won't profile their religion or their race yet.
Comment: Reminds me of the days when I was in the military and the policy directed military servicemen and women not to use military passports and dress when traveling to and from overseas for fear of kidnappings and being singled out and persecuted. I was very proud to wear the uniform of a US serviceman. I considered it a form of profiling from Islamic Facist / Fundamentalist / Terrorist that never seemed to make it to the press. But then again we were just military scum... you know, the class of people that come in all colors, religions, shapes and sizes. Also the press seem to have fun vilifying. Profiling has its place. I am okay with it.
Ok so tell me just how do you spot a Black Muslim terrorist or a White Muslim terrorist the guy with explosives in his shoe on a US bound plane was British & Black, there is no such thing as a Terrorist type, all the BS about profiling passengers is precisley that BS It is nothing more than a PR excercise with the hope of perhaps spotting a known face, also another way the Goverment can compile dossiers on it's population. From all the photos I have seen from the WTC suiciders to these fanatics caught in the UK, they all look roughly the same to me. I dont see any black Muslims so far or white Muslims doing these dirty deeds. Until the black Muslims blow a plane up I will profile them too.
Suggest then that you do a bit of reading check out the shoe bomber, he was a Black Muslim on a US bound plane over a year ago. Again though the question is raised how do you know who is a Muslim & who is not? We have had similar problems in the past like who was a IRA Terrorist after all those we caught were all Irish but not all the Irish were IRA LOL, also a lot of the white Terrorists who were arround before the fall of comunism were trained and have links to the Muslim groups (a lot of them recieved financing as well) now what do you think those who are not dead are doing? the Ideology might have gone but the lure of $$ is still there De Orc :kewl:
How about asking people if they are muslim. My understanding is if they deny their religion, Allah will not be happy and Mohammed is doomed for eternity. Then say, please step over into this longer line so we can ask a few more questions before you are on your way. If they miss their scheduled event well, this is the end result. Sorry.
I will admit that it is novel LOL and yes most would respond in the affermative as they have nothing to hide, but what about the one who knows he is going to paradise and whos Imam has absolved him of all crime? what then! Ok, sounds good to me. If I could paste all the dead terrorists pictures on this thread you would surely see that most of these Muslims are Arabian. That is my main point. If and when another race is a suicide bomber add them to it as well. But right now we have to do profiling! And I say profile any Ahab looking m-fer and sort em out.
OK go ahead and do that to all passengers who board a aircraft in the UK or US, but what about the sneaky ones who board in lets say Russia, China, South Africa France LOL what do you do about them?? The unfortunate thing is you can not stop a determined assasin who is willing to die, you can deter some of them & you can scare some of them but until your Goverment & mine is willing to play hardball and sod the international outcry then what they are doing is no more than window dressing. I can handle International Outcry. I really dont care what another country thinks of me when we are fighting an enemy who wants us destroyed. Start the bombing and start the condemning!
Profiling has worked well for El Al, but there have been significant attempts at bombing, notably Irish woman married to Muslim fascist that tried to bring bomb and baby on board of aircraft in London. This happened in 1980's.
