I'm a Turkish, I don't wanna be in EU, but it's very interesting even Bulgaria can join EU but not Turkey? Greece is an old EU country, which came to this point by the help of EU, but they still need help... Turkey is not Middle East country, not Europe too, it's Turkey... Which is in a very geopolitic importance place, has a big potancial. EU is one of Turkey's side, like Middle East countries, Caucasia, Russia, Central Asa, Africa... It's all about economic benefits, Turkey have business in Balkans. EU will just make Turkey's business easier and grow faster, but i think it's very dangerous to join EU now, only if EU can stop the crysis itsels inside, then maybe Turkey can join.
