I remember watching this show and giggling like a child (well, in my defense, I *was* a child), but I have no memory of Cleavon Little ever being in it. However, "IMDB" begs to differ with me: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098933/fullcredits. He is listed as a castmember for "unknown" episodes, and interestingly, he is credited as playing the same character as another actor, Frankie Faison (and an IMDB search on HIM proves him to be the won I remember: the landlord from "Coming to America," hee!). So, it would seem that Cleavon Little may have been a castmember, but perhaps only for a "pilot," or the first few episodes, until he was replaced with the actor who would portray the character for the duration of the series.
