Why are Americans not protesting in support of Iranians

Professor Gerdes showed a Iranian Human Rights Activist, who was flabbergasted by silence in US, when their is a freedom revolution right now taking place. She said, where is Mandani, Greta Thunberg, Bernie Sanders, student protestors, Hollywood elites? Two cities have fallen already, and protests are only intensifying vs Islamic Terrorist Regime. Lindsay Graham warned if Regime resorts to terror, then they will die. Its now the time for US to kill the head of the snake.

 

That’s a good question. Maybe the Lefties can buy some paid protesters to protest in their stead while they are busy themselves protesting against their very own country.

Oh well, it looks like the Iranian regime’s days are numbered. Thank God! I remember watching TV every night after the hostages were taken in Tehran. Taken from our American embassy soil, no less! I watched as feckless Jimmy Carter sat with his thumb up his ass while the Iranians laughed at us, held our people hostage and chanted “Death to America”.

So now, President Trump is about to clean up another mess left by previous presidents like Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Barack Osama and Joe Briben.

Iran should take immediate notice that President Trump means exactly what he says and doesn’t speak out of both sides of his mouth like those previously mentioned.

Reagan answered, nope, but I think they are worried about me as President. Imagine the pro-Democracy movement in Tehran are shouting "Death to Khameini, Islamic Republic" And begging for USA and Israel to come to their aid! How different 2026 from 1979.

 

Yes, repressive regimes have a way of doing that to their people. At the beginning, these regimes offer a fresh start and a new beginning. But, whether it’s a socialist regime, communist regime or an Islamic regime, it quickly devolves into a nightmare for its people. The only form of government that is fair is a capitalism-based Constitutional Republic.

 

This could be one of the reasons that Americans aren't protesting the Iranian regime. Perhaps they don't want to be run over by a U-Haul truck emblazoned with pro-Iranian regime rhetoric. There seems to be an uptick lately of people using their vehicles to try to kill people.

Of course, the Left isn't protesting the Iranian regime because of President Trump. He wants to remove the regime and its dictators and the Left certainly doesn't want that whether it is Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, Russia or North Korea.

One person was struck after a U-Haul truck drove through a crowd during a Los Angeles protest in support of anti-regime demonstrators in Iran, with the driver taken into custody, authorities said.

The incident occurred at around 3:30 p.m. Sunday along Veteran Avenue near the Federal Building in the Westwood neighborhood, according to the the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

"At approximately 1530 hours, the driver of a U-Haul truck collided with individuals marching along Veteran Avenue in the area of the Federal Building," LAPD said in a statement.

Police said the adult male driver has been detained pending further investigation.

"At this time, one person was confirmed struck by the vehicle (an adult male); however, no significant injuries have been reported," LAPD said. "A Rescue Ambulance treated the individual at the scene. No one has been transported to the hospital for medical treatment."
Hundreds of people had gathered in the Westwood neighborhood as part of a march backing protesters in Iran, local outlet NBC4 Los Angeles reported.

Videos circulating on social media appeared to show a U-Haul truck moving quickly through a dense crowd as people screamed. In one video, a person appeared to hang onto the side of the vehicle and bang on a window as it continued moving.

A banner displayed on the side of the truck read, in all capital letters, "NO SHAH. NO REGIME. USA: DON’T REPEAT 1953. NO MULLAH," along with another banner written in a foreign language.

Additional video appeared to show the driver being punched as several people tried to pull him from the large truck. The vehicle’s windows were also smashed, according to NBC4 Los Angeles.

Law enforcement has not yet released the driver's identity.

I've noticed a quite obvious lack of protesting or solidarity from liberals, democrats and progressives here in the United States for the anti-Iranian regime protesters? Why is that?

One would think that ALL citizens would unite to condemn the Iranian regime and, at least vocally, support the protesters. Yet, all I've seen in the U.S. are the conservatives and Republicans supporting the protesters.

Is it because President Trump is anti-Iranian regime and on the side of the protesters? Is it because the liberals don't want to support ANYTHING President Trump supports... even if that means more terrorism and the killing of civilians?

Would any liberals on this forum care to comment on the apparent lack of support for the protesters?
