Ahhhh, the Blaze, the New Fox, right? I've been watching it occasionally to see just how insane Glenn Beck is these days.

Seriously, saying an unarmed person is a victim is like saying a person without a car is traffic accident victim. When you have to twist your logic so badly to justify your own obsessions, you really have a problem. Get some help!

 

If you ever have the misfortune of being involved in an armed encounter (and the likelihood of that happening is ever increasing in your stomping grounds around Rahm Emanuel's Chicago), just remember who the fool is without the gun.

 

It hasn't happened in 54 years so why should I be worried that it is suddenly going to happen now. Haven't the flood of guns in this country made me safer? Don't more guns make us all safer as you guys like to claim? I mean look that Empire State building shooting. Once the 2 officers showed up and started shooting, the shooter was dead...and of course 9 other people were also shot. Imagine if everyone on that sidewalk had a gun. Hum?

Have you ever even met someone that was confronted by a gunman on the street and took out their gun and saved the day? I can answer for you. NO you haven't. The fact that you guys all want to play the town sheriff says way more about you than it says about the random inner-city gang shootings that mainly target other gang members and those in inner-city poor neighborhoods that happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and occur in very confined areas of Chicago. They don't need more guns in those neighborhoods, they need less guns.

That is where you're absolutely wrong (as usual). Armchair liberals like yourself never cease to amaze me. You think you have all the answers when, in fact, you're as dumb as a rock. You realize there are people who have to live in the "real world", don't you? The same people who actually have to face reality on a daily basis as opposed to namby-pamby, upper 5% liberals in their academician enclaves who drive Honda Ridgelines to their vacations in New Orleans while planning their trips on their in-car NAV systems and staying in upscale, 4-star hotels which cater to their every needs? Somehow, I doubt you do...

 

Funny you would mention Honda Ridgelines....I saw where that particular auto was name "douchiest" vehicle on the road recently. Seems everyone who drives a Ridgeline turns out to be the biggest douche in the crowd.

 

4-Star hotels? I wouldn't lower myself.

No problem! As long as you and your fellow gun owners don't take away the lives of those of us that prefer not to join in on the mutually assured destruction that inevitably goes along with unfettered access to handguns, extended clips, and assault rifles.

In other words, you defend my rights not to be shot and I'll defend your rights to own all the guns you want.

I love this story! Two guys get into a road rage incident and both are packing weapons. So instead of honking and flipping each other off, they open fire at each other to solve their traffic issues. Just in case the irony is lost on you, who would have died in this situation if neither one of them was allowed to carry a gun? Duh!!

You know if you use crazy people with guns to justify other crazy people with guns, you are only making my case for me.

 

I believe that argument is called a red herring. If it isn't, it is just as invalid.
Aren't you guys the ones for the death penalty but want to save every fertilized egg that happens to come along? I guess life is only valueless once it's already here. Do you see how those arguments really don't work out?
