It's too bad that the most vocal idiot here, opposing "greed", can't even manage to define exactly what it is that he's against
The definition of greed is a complex thing that can't be quantified in a single sentence, or even a library of books. It's that complex, THAT insidious. I don't expect you to get that immediately, or ever, but it is an important concept to have a decent grasp on, if we as a society are going to flourish. If society can't grasp it's nature in any meaningful way, then society is going to stagnant, and decay. America has potential to flourish, but at the moment it is decaying. Do you really want China, England, or Russia to set the tone? Or Iran? Not me, but I live here, so I'm a bit biased that way.
Well, do something your boss is unable to do...give it a shot! Heck, at least give us a couple of real examples of what you believe demonstrates "greed".
Are you seriously saying you didn't see my definitions and examples? Please reread this thread and ask yourself if you were mistaken about those allegations.
I did not see a concise definition of greed or any specific examples....only your typical silly hyperbole.
Then you are indeed a fool. Try Wikipedia, or something like it, maybe the Bible, if that is what you prefer. Look for "The Seven Deadly Sins", also known as "Capital Vices" and "Cardinal Sins", then find "Greed" and "Gluttony", for a more concise definition that you can accept. It wouldn't hurt to refresh your memory on all of them, of course, but you seem particularly hell-bent on ignoring the dangers of "Greed" in particular, so I suggest you start there. Good luck.
