    Yeah, just a bit.

My guess is he will be convicted of something but not murder 2nd. Something very minor or even a misdemeanor.

Well, it would appear that Zimmerman WASN'T prejudiced after all:

Zimmerman complained about Sanford police in 2011

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — George Zimmerman accused the Sanford police department of corruption more than a year before he shot Trayvon Martin, saying at a public forum the agency covered up the beating of a black homeless man by the son of a white officer.
"I would just like to state that the law is written in black and white," Zimmerman said during a 90-second statement to city commissioners at a community forum. "It should not and cannot be enforced in the gray for those who are in the thin blue line."
The forum took place on Jan. 8, 2011, days after a video of the beating went viral on the Internet and then-Sanford Police Chief Brian Tooley was forced to retire. Tooley's department faced criticism for dragging its feet in arresting Justin Collison, the son of a police lieutenant.

[Related: Should the murder charge be dropped?]
"I'd like to know what action the commission is taking in order to repeal Mr. Tooley's pension," Zimmerman said to the commission. "I'm not asking you to repeal his pension; I believe he's already forfeited his pension by his illegal cover-up in corruption in what happened in his department."
Zimmerman's public comments could be important because the Martin family and supporters contend the neighborhood watch volunteer singled Martin out because he was black. Zimmerman has a Peruvian mother and a white father. His supporters have said he is not racist.
The Miami Herald first reported details from the January 2011 community forum Wednesday. The Associated Press obtained a copy of the tape from the meeting.
In the speech, Zimmerman said he witnessed "disgusting" behavior by officers when he was part of a ride-along program, though the agency said it did not know when, if ever, Zimmerman was in that program.
"The officer showed me his favorite hiding spots for taking naps. He explained to me he doesn't carry a long gun in his vehicle because in his words, 'Anything that requires a long gun requires a lot of paperwork and you're gonna find me as far away from it.'"
[Related: Medical report shows broken nose, lacerations]
Zimmerman also said the officer in question "took two lunch breaks and attended a going away party for one of his fellow officers."
Sanford Mayor Jeff Triplett and interim police chief Richard Myers were both unavailable for comment.
Zimmerman is free on bond awaiting his second-degree murder trial for shooting Martin. Martin was walking back to a townhome he was staying at when he got into a fight with Zimmerman, who shot him in the chest at close range.
Zimmerman, who claims the Feb. 26 shooting was self-defense, was initially not arrested. But after protests around the country and an investigation by a state prosecutor, he was charged.
Tooley's successor, Bill Lee, temporarily resigned his post following a no-confidence vote by city commissioners.
Lee offered to resign permanently, but his commissioners turned down his request. He is on paid leave.

Once a liar, always a liar...

A Florida judge accused George Zimmerman of misrepresenting how much money he had. Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder in Trayvon Martin's death.

Back in jail for lying. Now to determine if the other lie he told was actually murder. He already killed the only person that could expose his first lie. Now this guy has lied to the judge. Probably not the best move on his part. My guess is that he doesn't like sitting in jail very much. Oh, an he is an idiot.

So NO Trayvon Martin DNA on either the gun or the gun holster. Hum? Sort punches more holes in Zimmerman's story doesn't it.

The tests by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement excluded Trayvon as a possible contributor for DNA found on the gun's grip but were unable to determine whether his DNA was on the other parts of the weapon.

DNA on the slide showed the presence of one male individual, but it could not be matched to anyone. DNA belonging to Zimmerman was also found on the gun holster, but Martin's could not be matched.

"There's certainly nothing new that proves the elements of the crime," said Randy Reep, a criminal defense attorney in Jacksonville. "We frequently see gun crimes with no DNA with people who didn't have on a glove. It's not a great surface for DNA, that's been my experience."

Whether Trayvon actually had his hand on the gun may not matter, Reep said. The crux of the case rests on whether Zimmerman can convince a jury that Trayvon was reaching for the gun, he said.

Killing someone in self defense is technically "homicide". But, yes, you are correct that its self defense.

It helps if you take your gun and hunt them. Don't wait for that inevitable break-in or street crime. You have a gun, force the issue. You just can't risk an encounter with a teenager and his lethal bag of Skittles.

Wow, I didn't know that's all he was armed with. Skittles. How about that! Oh, but we may be forgetting that he also had hands which may have been trying to grab a gun.

So everyone with hands is a potential thug that needs to be followed, confronted, and murdered now. Wow! You gun freaks have a big job ahead of you. Like almost everyone has hands these days.

The point being that everyone, even a little Sunday School choirboy like Trayvon Martin who was just carrying a bag of Skittles while skipping down the sidewalk on his way to take toys to the orphanage, can be a potential killer under the right circumstances.

Yes, everyone is society is a potential killer. I guess nobody proved that better than George Zimmerman.

They want to justify their lust to hunt, confront, and even kill people they deem potentially criminal. They want to be the law of their neighborhoods, when the law isn't around. Next they will want to form posses, yes? And they will then soon demand horses. Then the stench of horse @#$% will be everywhere.

It may be better for us to let the law enforce the laws, yes?

So, it's better to kill them first, eh? ...but does intentionally looking for these potential killers qualify as a defense, IYO? In mine, it does not.

In case after case, a citizen takes it upon him/herself to protect themselves, and their vicinity by actively hunting for criminals, without the proper psychological and physical training necessary for the job. They want justification for that activity. I hope they never get it.

Arming yourself as a citizen is a right, but only for responsible people. A citizen being mugged has the right to defend themselves from harm. They also have the right to protect others should they happen across a mugging. Hunting for muggers is vigilante justice. Law enforcement frowns on that.

I think that they are always afraid. They react to everything out of fear. It would be a foreign concept for the vast majority of us to be in this constant state of fear but it is just their normal existence. They are afraid of anyone different than themselves. That is the single biggest reason they arm themselves to heavily and do not trust minorities. They lack the ability to see people as people. They should not be allowed to define this country in any way.
