I do not know much of this story but I have read here and there that the three college students who burned down black and white flock churches did it for kicks and as a joke. I also read the claim that two of the students were drama majors. Now I do not know if what I read was true but if it was, does it represent what the godless leftwing culture is doing to our youth. I would also be interested in knowing what if any values their parents installed.

They were probably spoiled rich kids (aka Republicans). Remember the drunk-driving-Bush-in-his-youth- type. Remember Bush was a coke snorting drunk driving dog and that is probably where these trust funders are coming from.

Of course this, like every other political discussion, immediately turns into a partisan political battle. Most likely, none of the kids ever gave much thought to politics either way. Some people here think all republicans are spoiled, misguided and stupid. Others think all democrats are spoiled, misguided and stupid. Both sides are probably correct.
There parents might be Republican but I heard 2 of them were collecge drama/theater students. I doubt they could survive that kind of daily brainwashing with their Young Republican Membership Cards intact.
I don't think much of the colleges were quite the same elitist liberal bastions back in 1932 when he graduated. Neither was Hollywood.
Personaly I dont care what Social/Economic/Political grouping they might belong to, I just think that they should be put away for a very long time as a warning to those others who might think that this sort of thing is fun De Orc
I never said republican or democrat. There are democrat conservatives as well as republican conservatives as well as various conservative parties or conservatives that vote independent. It amazes me that as soon as I mention leftwing that some people jump to attack republicans or turn the issue into that. The bottom line is that most conservatives have a belief in God and do attend various religious services whereas the left attacks the jewish and christian religions on a constant basis in this nation in many forms. It will lead one to think that a jewish or christian or hindu/buddist conservative upbringing or a moral liberal one would not lead youth to burn houses of worship whereas a leftwing anti-church one would. As for two of them being drama students perhaps this is what the leftist in hollywood are today without the phony facade that they discuss so much as being superior. They really about hate which is why they would nominate a movie that protrays murders who blow up buses filled with children going to school as heros or pick a song about pimping out women to be sex slaves as being culture.
