If this doesn't straddle the line between "up there" and down here on the dark side, I don't know what does. Would you say that coin collecting is more of a Republican or a Democrat hobby? Apparently little is known about the demographics of coin collectors and their political affiliations are speculative at best. That's where we come in. Well I am in my early 50's but been collecting for years, I am white they got that right LOL I am male they got that right, I dont think I am middle class and not been American I still collect American coins LOL

Let's see...old, white men with disposable income and an obsession with American money. I can't imagine what the political demographic would be. lol
Other than living in Michigan (I do live in the next state over however), they nailed me demographically. I'm going to go out a limb here and say that white, middle aged, middle class, males would lean towards the Republican Party.
So what demographic is left to lean towards the democrat party? I'll give it a shot. I'm going to say: - most big city dwellers who never learned common sense, be they male or female - Put total nieve trust and reliance in government - Overwhelming majority of minorities - The entire recipient class - Have no idea of US history or desire to learn it. Actually despise the U.S. over assumed knowledge they think they have. - Want repirations and/or free citizenship, open borders - Generally highly UNeducated - Pay NO TAXES but receive income tax back every year - The type that couldn't tell you who the Vice president is or find Spain on a map, much less take a guess at who the Speaker of the House is. I'll say all in this group "lean" democrat and are not interested in coin collecting for obvious reasons. Such a wonderful dead wei....I mean demographic to have intertwined in our society.
