    Once again...I do support Palin!!
As for Hillary, didn't go there to support her or to protest so your statements are off the mark as usual...my daughters wanted to see someone who may have just been elected President.

What flavor was the Koolaide at the McCain rally? I bet you it tasted like freedom.

Its ''Leiberman'' guys. And he became an Idependent a while ago So by supporting McCain he did not do any damage to the Democratic party. Gee Midas you shouldve known that.

He is a disappointment to me bc his reasons not too long ago about going into Iraq were noble. Now he is siding with Obama who is everything opposite of what he was. Everyone who is siding with Obama right now are just plain brain dead. The Clintons, Biden, Powell all thought Obama was too inexperienced, naive et al during the primaries... Now, all of a sudden they are on his side? If you can't see that then you really are blinded by Bush Derangement Syndrome.

Yea but Romney and that idiot from Law and Order thought McCain was not the guy for the Republican nomination. Now they are siding with HIM. Its politics . And you like McCain for his ''maverickocity''. Because sometimes he goes against his own party. Why cant others of his party do the same?

I'll give you credit David. At least you seem to have watched the "copy and paste" I put up.
Sorry that Powell "dissed" Palin (quite politely though) but her inexperience shows big time. She has a hard time answering questions - period. She can't "dodge" a question effectively and good politicians do it no matter what side of the fence they be on. McCain does it, Obama does it, Biden does it and the list goes on.

As pupils and thinkers go Palin is a dull number two pencil and Obama is sharp as a tack. Granted she's not running for President but, if thrust into that role, what would SHE say if called at 3am to be told something like "Iran just invaded Iraq"?
"Well, you know Todd and I were moose hunting and we're tired so I'll get back to ya"?

The McCain people have run a terrible campaign and it shows more everyday. Palin was a HORRIBLE choice as VP and it shows more everyday. Maybe he should have chosen Tina Fey?

Lemmings and Kool Aid drinkers oppose McCain and Palin I suppose. Well, I can tell you there are a lot of Lemmings and Kool Aid drinkers in the Republican camp.

Cripes, I see and hear it everyday around here. "Obama is a Muslim, Socialist - yada, yada, yada." "We're scared because we have no clue but believe everything we hear". For the record NOT referring to you David just what I observe locally.

In politics crap doesn't always flow downhill. I spreads and puddles.

Finally, I know I'm taking this from your response to another post but I'm doing it because I'm already hearing it. That's a damn shame IMHO.

I have always had a great deal of respect for Colin Powell. Too bad he got so mixed up with Bush. BRILLIANT man and well respected.
If Condi Rice came out and endorsed Obama I'd tell her to crawl back in her hole.

As it stands if Powell were running for President instead of McCain I would have a totally different take on this election.

If, as JW, suggested he did it in hopes of a high seat (which I doubt) I'd love to see him on one. Get this - experience, leadership and respect amongst other qualities

We'll know soon enough won't we.

Actually, Meet the Press is one of my "can't miss" TV shows, then I re-watched it on MSNBC later in the day.
I disagree with your assessment of Obama & Palin's intelligience, just look at their record. Palin rose thru the ranks the old-fashioned way...she kept getting elected to higher positions while Obama is merely well-rehearsed and was awarded his elected offices only thru political deal making.
I just can't understand why Powell, if he is as smart as you think he is, would diss Palin for her inexperience when she is infinitely more experienced than Obama? Being able to effectively dodge a question is a pretty thin quality as is what you perceive her response to be to that 3:00am call. Remember it is your candidate who uttered "above my pay grade" and "hey, what can I say".

I do think that if the Republican party had run someone like Powell for President you would see a totaly different set of ratings to what you are seeing now, the guy would have been a great choice :D
As for Palin yes she is inexperienced but I do think the lady has a great deal of potential and I give McCain credit for spotting that, she needs to think before she speaks though if she wants to make a impact on the center stage. It is a shame that McCain and his team had not picked her at the start of his campaign and groomed her (In secret LOL) I think you would have seen a much different lady to what we see now.

I agree, I think he would have made that ticket much more workable...I might have even voted for a ticket with him on it.

Nah, you'd find some reason to sit on the sidelines & complain...

Maybe I don't make my case strong enough? I would call in ranting more so than whining. Whining more appropriately describes those of you on the sidelines pining after a candidate that the American people soundly rejected.

David...leave it to people who know better and have to read your posts...you whine...sometimes I am sure you must be stomping your feet and holding your breath until you turn blue or until all those koolaid drinkers see how right you are. :)

Not really, I just like to see you go off on your pontificating, long-winded tangents!!

Rather than the pontificating distortion of the facts you prefer to call the truth LOL
