If you ever wanted the definition of the pot calling the kettle black, this has to be the best one so far. So conservatives have spent the last 5 years calling Obama everything from a Kenyan Socialist Muslim that hates white people to a foreign born Muslim dictator(they throw Muslim in everything) and now they are concerned that he is being hostile towards them??? Really?? I sure as hell hope he is and with extreme prejudice ta boot.

Reince Priebus Questions IRS Scandal, Obama 'Culture Of Hostility Toward Conservative Groups'

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus slammed President Barack Obama over the Internal Revenue Service's targeting of conservative groups in the lead-up to the 2012 election, alleging Obama played a role in the incident.

"Will anyone take responsibility for the IRS scandal? When will we hear the whole truth?" Priebus writes. "And will the president ever admit to creating a culture of hostility toward conservative groups?"

The op-ed, published Saturday by RealClearPolitics, is made up of a series of questions asking about Obama's role in the IRS scandal:

Does President Obama think his endless attacks on conservative groups had no effect on the IRS’s thinking? Did the IRS take years of name calling as a sign that these groups deserved to be harassed? After the president and his allies called the groups “terrorists” and “tea-baggers,” did the IRS think targeting them was what the president wanted? Were they egged on by the letters from Democrat Senators Schumer, Whitehouse, and Baucus calling for the IRS to scrutinize conservative groups?
Doesn’t the administration recognize the IRS could’ve taken cues from people at the top?

If this wasn’t politically motivated, why weren’t liberal groups targeted? Why did the IRS wait until after the 2012 election to admit their actions? Isn’t it interesting that none of President Obama’s supporters were targeted?

The White House denied any senior officials were involved in the tea party targeting and insisted Obama only found out about the incident "when it came out in the news." Obama has called the scandal "outrageous" and said he has "no patience" for the actions.

Despite his criticism, Priebus recently urged Republicans to show restraint, telling them to think twice before for Obama's impeachment over a number of recent scandals.

"We have to be persistent but patient,” Priebus said. “I think where there’s smoke, there’s fire. If we present ourselves to the American people as intelligent, we’re going to be in a great place as far as showing that this administration is not transparent, is obsessed with power and hates dissent. But you don’t call for impeachment until you have evidence.”

Priebus claiming Obama created a "culture of hostility towards conservative groups" is like claiming the bubbles rising from the bathtub are the dog's fault.

Now, I was going to wait until the puberts here chimed in on my quote, but (deleted) 'em. No, there are no dogs in the bathtub, though I'm certain they'll disagree.

There's irony in there somewhere lol

For quite a while now Christians of a certain ilk have been whining about how difficult life is for them in the face of the relentless persecution they experience in America. Now on the political front the Bagger Right is complaining about the existence of "a culture of hostility" which they find similarly oppressive. Sometimes you read something and it just makes you smile.

There is no way to separate church and state completely, since people are religious, but that doesn't mean we should allow government to be dictated to by religious groups.

The problem is, not everyone agrees with that. A lot of people do indeed want to enforce their religious beliefs on others through legislative means. They get elected and boom, new laws banning this or that, and we're right back into the stone ages again.

If you only knew how many times I have heard "guns and ammunition are a great investment" at work it would make you puke.

Where I work Beanie Babies were once a hot commodity.

Thom Hartmann likes to say that Christians workship a Bronze Age God. Think about that, people just learning to do with basic metal-work and they've figured out God. They must have had a lot spare time on their hands.

I remember clembo asking us whether or not it was a good idea to be buying gold. This was after gold had reached $1800, I think, or was approaching it anyway. I thought the answer was obvious: "Buy low, sell high, so hell no" lol

No clembo. Hell no. What's it at now anyway? (looks it up) $1387...yup, I was right lol
