David Scott (D) got into a squabble with the town folks recently over health care. The next day his law office sign had a German cross painted on it. He asked for and got extra security for him and his family at the expense of the tax payers. Way to go Dave.....we need to be saving money and here you go with more waste !!!! If he can't handle the heat he needs to go and find another job !!!

    What a joke !!!!

I suppose it depends on how you look at it.

A German cross is not something anyone wants to come home to or have on their business. Tends to be associated with violence. Would that be a fair assessment?
Tends to be associated with hate crimes as far as that goes.

So he gets extra security and, yes, it costs the taxpayers extra money.

Now WHO is to blame? The Congressman or the moron that put the cross on his sign?

Hope they catch the genius that put it there. He/She should pay the taxpayers back on this one.

I'd say that moron is to blame, but that is just me.

The moron who painted the stupidazz thing should be held accountable.

What heat? You mean the heat that someone wishes the guy hram? Or the heat of a political debate? They are two different things. You may agree with the hillbillies that trashed his wall. But it is a sign of violence. Did you want him and his kids to carry guns? Would that seem more courageous? If the tagger is caught, he should pay for the extra security. We have a law here that if you are dumb enough to wander out in the desert unprepared, and cops have to use all means to recue you; you get charged for the cost of the rescue.

I agree that the painter should be made to pay back the money, that is if he is ever caught. It was a coward thing to do.

I saw the tape of the town hall meeting and Scott was out of line. You don't scream and yell at folks just because you disagree. You could see the anger and hate in Mr. Scotts face. You could see the anger and hate on the painted sign. Two wrongs don't make it right !!!

As far as his family needing guns....hell they better if he is gonna keep acting like he did !!!

So it is ok for a citizen to scream and shout at a politician but not for a politician to do the same? what sort of crazy is that? :D We had a politician over here by the name of John Prescott who took a lot of abuse until one day someone threw a egg at him :D Prescott decked the guy LOL guess how that affected his popularity :D
