First thing you need to do when debating, especially when debating libs like MOEN, is to come prepared with facts to debunk every single liberal talking point they try to get you to believe. I have tried to debate MOEN with concrete non-partisan facts and he chooses to ignore my questions with round-about vague answers. MOEN and others like him (libs), will try to divert the real question with some made-up, conspiracy theory or fake document they can find to back their positiion because of their hung-up hate towards Bush. MOEN can talk a good debate, but when it comes to facts he is just a child. His hatred towards Bush is obvious and his hatred towards these terrorists is not so obvious. I call it like I see it, remember I hate Political Correctness. I admit it. MOEN, I heard you posted a lot of information about me in another post. Just like I said in that same post, you my enemy are a coward. You really fell lower than I thought you already were. I don't care if it is public knowledge, if you had any sense of right and wrong, which we all know you don't, then you would not have done what you did. It looks as if you are the one who has LOST IT be stooping to such a low. I seem to remember someone saying something about me not being able to handle my emotions upon my release of the military. You haven't even been in the military and you have lost it.
There's an old saying, "Before you raise your voice, reinforce your argument." First, I was very surprised to see personal information posted. I always stated that Moen's posts were well written and very well articulated. I may not have agreed with many of his political beliefs, but he always offered up a good debate which many times got me to sit back, take notice, and force me to reinforce MY argument. After all, that is why I visit this forum. I enjoy a good intellectual debate with most of you who offer posts like Moen's and others...from the "dark" side. What I don't enjoy is those that offer nothing to the conversation. If you post that oil hit $75 a barrel and blame it all on Bush with no rhyme or reason, well...that is NOT an intellectual debate and I have no use for you. But for those that like to engage in this conversation with point-counterpoint, well the only thing that is missing is a good bar with cold beer and hot Buffalo wings to fill in for the "down" time. The trouble with heated discussions that deal with war and politics is that I see the country growing further and further divided when it comes to government's role in our lives and how we fight this war against islamic jihadists. You have people that live off of the "six-second-sound bites" and you have others like MOST of us here that really dive into our arguments and core beliefs. So tempers will flare. People will say things they probably shouldn't have said. People should think before they speak (type) and let the facts fall where they fall. Before you roll your eyes at me, I have been guilty of typing before I think many times and I should probably apologize for some of these instances. But I must commend many of you from the "dark side". You have given me an insight of what and how you think and that is great when I really talk to my liberal friends over beer and wings. You know these guys...they always ask me, "Where do you get this stuff?" I tell them from CoinTalk.org!! Thanks Peter for letting us have this "fun" forum. I enjoy it!

I guess you know that Danr isn't very good at this debating, but yet I've heard that he is known as a master bater! No one seem surprised and it may be that he even has problems along this line as well.
Amazing how there cannot be discussion here without personal attacks and posting of addresses etc. Disgusting. Maybe since some cannot discuss stuff, perhaps they like to go back to talking only about coins, that is if they can stop personal attacks even there.

His posts may be well written and very well articulated, but that doesn't mean anything when most of his thoughts are based on LIES and HATE. Debating a liberal is useless when they are convinced their FAKED documents are the basis for their REALITY. When a liberal makes statements comparing accidental auto-accidents to planned-out Jihadist attacks I can ASSUME that he is incapable of rationality and morality. And then denies he made a pathetic grasp of an ANALOGY, when in fact IT was an analogy. I, too, get much satisfaction of debating libs because it gives me a chance to confront them with facts and not some moveon.org, Michael Moore movie or some photo-shopped Bush picture. When a liberal debates you by posting far-left, anti. U.S. conspiracy theories suggesting that the U.S. planned the attack against us to get into a war with terrorists, the entire debate is useless and null. A kook liberal (Danr) can post an paste to their heartless content conspiracy theories related to WTC, but can't come up with one solid conviction to back the claim up with. He will follow with another picture and some gay comment not related to the arguement at hand. Last I checked the majority of Americans are not cool-aid drinkers like the media want you to believe. If that were true Bush wouldn't be President for 2 terms. Liberals, you have no PLAN for anything other than manipulating the population into believing your party will have a smarter/tougher stance on all the problems the U.S. is going through right now without saying exactly what you would do instead. Hey...I never said I AGREED with him, I just made a point that when he did offer rational and logic, it was well communicated and well written. I am proud to be a conservative. With that, I believe in the individual over governemnt. I believe that you can't have employees unless you have employers first. I believe that our government is too involved in every aspect of our life. I believe in the U.S. Consitution. I believe in "loser-pays" legislation to stop trial lawyers from extorting money from businesses and people that have no reason being sued. I believe our federal government should concentrate on the defense of this country and our infrastructre...not how some kid is being taught in Cocoa Beach, FL. I could go on and on, but that fact is...I am proud to be a fiscal conservative that is VERY strong on national defense and protection from our enemies (like islamic jihadists). I haven't met too many liberals that are proud to say they are a "liberal" because they like to hide behind "feel-good" terms like progressive or moderate...which is ALL a bunch of BULL, nothing more! These are the same people that call terrorists, "insurgents". Let's see, you strap bombs to yourself and blow yourself up and the liberals call these people "insurgents"???...well, I think I made my point. Boy, Moen sure proved that be a true statement. Listen people. I don't care how intelligent a person is there is a thing called "common sense" that HAS to be used when in a public message board. What is typed here can be seen by anyone and we all know that there are stalkers out there watching for just this kind of incident. When a post such as Moen's happens it not only effects the recipient but can endanger his family and friends as well. We need to police each other, especially during a heated debate and when necessary, step in instead of watching and snickering. I know I get very emotional and lose my temper sometimes and almost always end up saying things I regret later. When tempers flare you usually become blind to what you are typing and a "bump" from a friendly member may be all that is needed to calm down and regain sensibility. Maybe we all learned a lesson from this especially since it cost us the loss of a forum veteran and good friend in OldDan. I think I did and hopefully I can become a better debater (I know that's really reaching) but I think I will stay around and give it a try. Now that Moen is gone, I may not be so afraid the use the words "Veteran" or "Patriotism" which are 2 things that I truly love but was reluctant to discuss because of his questionable feelings toward both. I hope everyone understands my feelings. That is all I will say about that. Let's move ahead.
