There you go putting words in my mouth again. Since you did not say I was wrong, I guess you are agreeing with my statement. I am sure everything (and I mean every single little thing) done while Bush was president, you assign as his responsibility.

That's because Bush was the guy that initiated all this invasion of privacy crap and used the terrorist attacks as justification. BTW You're wrong!

I will no longer assume you are a marginal reader. I will just assume you cannot read.

Yea, I have been know to be wrong once in a while. Once I actually thought that BO might actually turn out to be not as bad as I had feared if we elected him. Instead, I found out it was just his lies and he actually turned out to be worse.

And it is BO's fault because he was so busy trying to screw the American public with Obamacare that he ignored the rest of the government. Now that it is biting him in the butt, he is taking the usual liberal stance - lies and it is someone else's fault.

I never said it was dicussed. But yeah. Instead of pissing and moaning about planned parenthood, the Dems couldve attached a no eavesdropping rider. But you inferred that they arent aware of such goings on so how could they address it? And dont pass it off as the previous administration's fault. This is now. The Dems in control now and they can end such crap as invasion of privacy. But like you said they only fight battles they are sure they can win. Thats not really fighting then is it?

First of all, the Dems didn't make Planned Parenthood an issue to begin with, that was the ideologues on the other side’s idea. Secondly, I never inferred that they were unaware of the issues surrounding privacy. I said that you more or less have to pick your battles especially in a divided government. You can say don't blame the previous administration but in reality, the Republicans that are still here would fight any changes to the privacy intrusions like rabid dogs and you know it. So it is obviously more than the previous administration in play here. It's not so much the invasion of privacy that bothers me, it is how the information is used that keeps me awake at night. I simply trust the Left slightly more than I trust the Right but in reality I trust neither the Left nor the Right all that much.

Back to the original topic. Has anyone else seen this one?

    Police Magazine

If I was speeding, they get to listen to my conversation with my mistress and any other info on my cellphone they may desire. How on earth did this get past 2 sane people.

I generally think that the ACLU should be strung up, but maybe this is why they have not been.

Read post 14. "Not on their raadar" implies no knowledge of the issue.

That is pretty messed up. Why should they be able to do that? I don't understand this country a lot of the time.

As far as the ACLU, I don't believe in everything they do or stand for but they do, in many cases, actual try to protect liberties. Which is often more action than a lot of self proclaimed 'Libertarians' these days.

I have the answer, I'll do my Heiki-Lunta Snow Dance, sure the neighbors will complain ...again... and it'll snow like crazy here for a day or two... but one look at my naked body, and all it's imperfections, will surely make anyone view privacy as a necessity.
