His President is a wanted war criminal, most members of his Duma are lunatics (one even wants to use nukes to make Ukraine capitulate) Basically Putin assured the Iranian President today that Russia would aid Iran in defeating the US in War. Trump seems to love guys like Putin, Lukashenko, Kim Jong Um, while being nasty with friendly nations like Germany, UK, France, Canada, S. Korea, Japan....like I said dumb & dumber Never seen a President looking to get clobbered in Midterms. Maybe Melania needs to have a heart to heart talk with Him.
I hope people are beginning to realize Trump just plain isn't a very smart man. There never was a master plan, he's just lashing out and pursuing self interest. In a way, I almost feel sorry for conservatives in the U.S., as there is truly no party that represents conservative values anymore. Just cult of personality and sunk cost fallacy all the way down. First off, you appear to believe in full-blown communism, so don't call the USA your country. Secondly, Trump is certainly impetuous, but he is not stupid. That he is given to his impulses just makes him look that way. You and I both know plenty of impulsive smart people . . . he just happens to be the most prominent one you know of, and your most hated political target.

Agreed Trump is not stupid, neither is V. V. Putin. However, Putin became the Worlds richest man thru cunning and out right rape of the Russian economy and murdering opponents, blackmailing oligrachs, neglecting spending on infrastructure, military modernization etc. Trump is niave though, He seems to believe scumbags like Putin, Kim Jong Um, while also believing he can make a deal with the Iranian Islamists Regime. He also thinks tariffs are a boon for US economy, while most economists say they are causing pain for US consumers. The only nations that he should put high tariffs on are India, China & Russia. Plus, how in the Hell can it be that the mighty USA cannot produce 1000 Patriot missiles every week. Germany in 1944 were producing more V-2s.

You are carrying this a bit far. Yes, he is impetuous. Yes, he is a self promoter. He he is egotistical and yes he is personally profiting from his time in office. But you are dead wrong about his intelligence. He really is a brilliant man, like him or not. What he will not be given credit for until historians write about his term is that Trump hearkens back to a time when we all didn't agree, but were bound by the red, white and blue. A time when we all had the same agenda, and knew we had different views on how to achieve it. A time when men had decorum and didn't wear dresses and makeup in government offices. A time when we regarded law enforcement and appreciated the job they did. A time when dishonoring the flag was a sure fire way to get your teeth kicked in. A time when older generations were honored for their wisdom. I had hoped at the outset of his term, we would once again see kids singing the national anthem with gusto at sporting events. Two years in, it appears that these old fashioned values that built this great nation may just be far too decayed. My days on this planet are numbered and I'll continue to hold those values close to my heart my remaining days, but I truly fear for the future now that the rot has set in..... You see, Trump believed that he was strong enough to make people feel these values again even though he, like all the rest of us is a flawed man. He will not get credit for his vision in his lifetime, but if by some miracle this nation can turn its value system back around to what made us great, historians will regard him as the turning point that saved our nation.
