Ok. Well..... I don’t have a direct reply to your question. I still believe that the nation is far greater than any one man and the transition would take place..... That’s a weak answer and I acknowledge that. I have some things I need to think about and pray on now that I have read through about 48 hours of the mans Tweets.
I can't claim any credit--in the run-up to Tuesday evening's spectacle there was more than one talking head musing about the chances that there would be only one actual debate, with Trump claiming victory and bravely running away. There was never any question, though, on the enforced civility. Trump cannot "allow" debate organizers to attempt to hold a genuine debate instead of another Donald Yells at the World sideshow act. At this point in his life I doubt that he's capable of debating in a civil and coherent manner. He's been surrounded by groveling stooges for a couple of years now, telling him what a masterful and amazingly intelligent fellow he is, and as far as I can tell he simply cannot abide hearing anything else. It was obvious on the night that Trump was compelled to blurt out one of his typically absurd and asinine "rebuttals" the second his brain registered something he didn't like, regardless of who was supposed to be speaking.
