Whatever Takiji. Hope you feeling better after your accident but with that said I have come to the conclusion that you really do not care about seeing the world as anything more or anything else as you want to see it and not interested as it really is.

I think it was blind or malious hatred that caused Joe to compare the American Right Wing to the National Socialist Party for there is no comparision and that is the real point.

I am feeling quite a bit better, thank you Andy. I'm sorry we don't agree on the degree of the Muslim threat, but we don't. I think you're obsessed and you think I'm blind. As is often the case, the reality is probably less clear-cut and definable than either of us will acknowledge.

Fine, but that's a separate issue. It's not what you were talking about in your post.

God yes! Is it really so difficult for him to understand? They have to twist even simple comparisons into word salad so that they can rationalize, at least in their own heads, something they can't admit to themselves. How sad it must be to go through life so tortured by your own inadequacies and be forced to compensate for them all of the time.

LOL I think it's done consciously for the most part. They are not as stupid as they sound. They know what they're doing. They've turned it into a minor art form. All the twisting and dodging and missing the point is just an acknowledgement that they can't support their faith with reason. It's a problem for anyone who believes that his side is infallible and embodies absolute truth.

What are you talking about. Moen compares Americans who do not agree with him to nazis and you see no fault to his logic.
You started off sane on this site but really gone off the deep end. I hope you just playing troll for kicks and really didn't lose it from the accident.

Calm down, Andy. I think it's possible that we all started off sane here. I don't know what you were like in the beginning but putting aside your Muslim fixation and your silly pictures I'm willing to concede that you still have a grasp.

It is funny how you choose to take this. I have called nobody a Nazi. All I said was that someone who lived through the war (Martin Niemoller) in Germany stated that the Nazis took away the Socialists, the Unionists, and the Jews.

If you look at the RW'ers in this country, they are rabid anti-Socialists, taking away union rights and labeling workers as union thugs and of course, they hate a religious group (Maybe not the Jews in this case) but Muslims are used to foment fear just like the Nazis used the Jews.

Now someone tell me that the parallels between Nazi Germany of the 1940’s and today’s WR'ers isn't just a little unsettling as Niemoller’s quote has described it. I'm not calling today’s RW'ers Nazis, I'm just saying that history seems to be repeating itself. Different players, same boogiemen

One I am not a right winger but respect aspects of thier platform.

Two your second and third paragraph is way off the mark. The nazis implement state sponsered terror within Germany against anyone not fit to be seen as German enough and was engaged with such before they took power as well.
The Right wingers as an entity have not sponsered anything other then a tea party and the last demonstration I saw was a bunch of older folk standing at the side of the road holding signs and asking people to beep thier horn if they agree with them. Real scarey stuff.

and about the radical muslims. They want to cause fear for that is one of the weapons of Terrorism henceforth the name terrorist.

There was a time we used to discuss coins. With the economy doing so poorly I have nothing new to discuss at that site.

True, but I expect they'll find themselves ruled by them soon enough along with the rest of us. And some of them will be cheering the transformation while others of them will be saying that it is not what they had wanted. But they won't be saying it for very long.

Andy, can you really deny that the RW (no matter how you want to define them) has endlessly called Obama a Socialist, has attacked unions systematically across the country stripping union rights during an economic down turn, and relentlessly demonized and fomented fear of Muslims?

Now isn't that just a bit close to the way Martin Niemoller’s depicted the people/groups the Nazis targeted in this quote? Just say yes or no please. I'll draw a picture for you.

    NAZI vs. RW'ers
    Socialists vs. Socialists
    Trade Unionists vs. Unions
    Jews vs. Muslims

Are the people in the various groups that are and were vilified really all that different? I mean really?

It is truely sad that you think so little of the deaths of six million children, women and men that you would make such a comparison.

What the hell are you talking about now as you of course dodge yet another direct question?

I'm guessing you see the similarity as anyone would but just can't bring yourself to man up and admit it. Sad really.
