So, you can't define the center, yet you are calling someone that did
    define the center an idiot.

You said they were wrong, now prove it.

What is the center of an infinite space?

Would you define the center as a point of reference for measurements?

Since there is no center, the arbitrary center is the point from which
    you make your measurements.

That would be for the purposes of most cosmological models, the Earth.
So it is fully correct to define the Earth as the center of the
    universe.

Now that you hopefully understand the facts, who would be the
"retarded idiot" that did not know how referentials within infinite
    space are manufactured.

clearly a misspelling of "Axel Inane Verbouti".

I don't know what your on about but you know the people who said Earth was
the centre of the universe thought God made the universe and Earth
especially for us so since humans are so important we are obviously at the
    centre of the universe.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Geoz_wb_en.svg

The Geocentric model was disproved, from empirical observations
some centuries ago.. you seem to be a particularly slow-witted dolt
and have not yet caught up with the news!
[Note: the Heliocentric model does not put Sol at the centre of the
universe, or even at the geometric centre of the Solar System, as the
    planet's orbits are elliptical. ]

However, as the planets shown do orbit Sol, how can any of them be
the centre of our Solar system? and therefore of any larger
meta-structure, such as our galaxy, where we spin on one of the
spiral arms, or the universe, or even the backs of the turtles
which you and Alex Insane seem to think it all rests upon!

Is that your refutation? No actual thought, just "yer lying"? Can you
prove I am wrong? I gave you the facts, if your simple mind cannot
fathom that the center, for the purposes of cosmology, is the origin
then that is the fault of your education system or your genetics.

That was obvious when you started claiming people are "retarded
idiots" for understanding basic astronomical and cosmological
concepts. Bloody hell, it is fucking basic geometry.

    >but you know the people who said Earth was
    >the centre of the universe thought God made the universe and Earth

    >centre of the universe.

So you think modern cosmology and the astrology and religion of bygone
eras are the same. That would define "idiot".

Hint here "retarded idiot" the main reason the cosmological models
define the earth as the center is because distances in the universe
are all measured with Earth as the Zero point (aka center). It would
be silly to designate some other point as the center and then
reference that with some offset to Earth.

Maybe he just thinks he is the centre of the universe. I'm not that arrogant
I know the universe doesn't revolve around me and the universe has existed
billions of years before I was born and will continue to exist.

Because the math gets rather difficult without one. You are the one
that stated "Who was the retarded idiot who said that? " to an
accurate statement as to the current method of defining referentials
    within the current space.

It isn't hard to understand. Most everything in space is measured with
reference to Earth. Therefore that is your center point. It is
completely arbitrary but that does not alter the fact the cosmological
models use the Earth as the center.

Your mistake is confusing actual science with your religious mumbo
    jumbo.

Why not? It is an arbitrary point of reference and has nothing to do
with any other body. Unless you are defining the other body within the
structure it is not relevant. All rotation does is alter the angle
with respect to the zero point.

No, an origin for co-ordinates need not be a centre,
and elliptical orbits have two foci, not a centre,
(unless the foci coincide, producing a circle), for example:

    | O
    -------
    |

The eliptical orbit "O" can be described by any set
of points (x,y) in the Cartesian plane satisfying an equation of the form:

    http://upload.wikimedia.org/math/9/4/b/94bc0fbfc1ace2e887afbc22be6d3520.png

where a and b are any positive real numbers.

As this approximates the orbit of the Earth around Sol
Earth cannot be the centre of the local Solar system,
or of any surrounding meta structure.

    Q.E.D.

    > Since there is no center, the arbitrary center is the point from which
    > you make your measurements.

If you are choosing an arbitrary origin, then any point will do,
but it's not the centre, and the rest of this is a tautology,
    based on a fallacy;

    > That would be for the purposes of most cosmological models, the Earth.

So you will be apologising to the Church on Galileo's behalf! B^D

Anthropomorphism does not make Earth the Centre of the Universe,
That space appears to be occupied by your ego! B^D

    > So it is fully correct to define the Earth as the center of the
    > universe.

No, merely as an arbitrary reference point.

It would be absurd to speak of moving toward the CENTRE of our solar
system while transiting from Mercury to Earth! B^p

You would merely be moving toward an arbitrary, and moving, reference point.

As soon as we move to another Galaxy we would adopt another local
reference point, and the origin changes, ..if we find another
intelligence there, the change could be permanent.

    > Now that you hopefully understand the facts,

I would prefer he rationally understood the facts rather
than your hopefulness, which is misplaced.

    > who would be the "retarded idiot"

The one who claimed the Earth was the Centre of the Universe,
    when it orbits around Sol.

    > that did not know how referentials within infinite
    > space are manufactured.

This is getting boring. No I don't place any point of the universe as centre
because the universe is constantly expanding and that would be stupid.

Why does anyone have any responsibility to answer your GROUND SHIFTING?
    B^)

I suggest you take it as a no. B^D

A point of reference for measurements does NOT equate to 'Centre'

Let me introduce you to Mr Line.

    0--------------------C---------------p-----

Point "P" is measured from Origin "O" , which is not the centre "C"
    of the line.

Next week we introduce you to Mr Cartesian plane.. and then

    n-dimensional space.

Bring your protractor, you will be asked to demonstrate the CENTRE!

    BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAA!

Tell me, a bright young turnip like you must have heard of Klein's

    when did you decide to emulate it;

No, there are as many as you like. Why do you try and pretend they
are the centre of the Solar System, the Galaxy or any other known
    feature of the Cosmos?

I suggest you start at GO, do not collect $200.

If math depended on you finding the Centre of the Universe before
we measured the distance from London to Bath, or Uranus from Sol
we would be in considerable difficulty!

Maximum obsevable space is 15 billion light years in every direction
from Earth. Therefore within the "observable universe" we are
precisely at the center. There is a clue there but I am guessing you
are not smart enough to figure it out.

Explain how is cannot. Explain why the observed space ends in every
direction at the same distance from Earth. If I get all sciency on you
your gonna get all cornfuzelled and then you'll be posting more
    ignorant gibberish.

A truly a pathetic maundering and so incredibly wrong.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Observable_universe
Since we were speaking of the "current cosmology" and not astronomy
you will find that to be the correct link.

Because gibbering fool, you are confused by the fact you have not even
the vaguest of clues what the phrase "current cosmology" meant and are
wandering around willy nilly spewing unrelated astrological
observations as if they are somehow germane to the current cosmology.

    >

Yes it is. The observable universe is a sphere centered upon the
observer. Which makes the Earth the cosmological center of the
    universe.

Screaming about astronomy does not alter how cosmology works.

15 billion (or so) light years in every direction the observable
    universe ends.

Where does that place the observer?

    Oh, the center.

    >> That would be for the purposes of most cosmological models, the Earth.

That is astronomy. Do try to stay with the discussion, it is cosmology
    not astronomy.

    >
    >Anthropomorphism does not make Earth the Centre of the Universe,
    >That space appears to be occupied by your ego! B^D

No, the science of cosmology makes it the center.

    >No, merely as an arbitrary reference point.

That just happens to be observably in the center. It is arbitrary only
in the sense that the center is the location of the observer.

    >
    >It would be absurd to speak of moving toward the CENTRE of our solar
    >system while transiting from Mercury to Earth! B^p

Absolutely and that strawman has nothing to do with the cosomological
    center of the universe.

    >
    >You would merely be moving toward an arbitrary, and moving, reference point.

Unless you could measure in reference to the observed ends and found
    you were equidistant.

Nope, the reference point remains: the observer.
Try using cosmology rather than astronomy.

Too bad you are using the wrong science.

    >The one who claimed the Earth was the Centre of the Universe,

Yes, it does. Congratulations on your grasp of astronomy. Now can we
get back to discussing cosmology, you don't seem to understand that
very well. You do know astronomy and cosmology are not the same thing?

    >

    >Mrs God crochets them in here spare time.. B^D

As long as they are arbitrary and based upon the observer then that
works in cosmology. Cosmology is fun.
