I wouldn't say that I defend the party line as rigidly as you suggest. I will often say that Obama is not nearly as liberal as I'd like him to be, I hate the passive nature of the current crop on the Left but I also know that they are probably the only grown ups out there. They can't solve every problem they are handed and will most likely create a few new ones before they are done but the Arch Enemy as you say is antathetical to almost everything that I like about this country.

Are we alike the Arch Enemy and me? Of course we are are! That's what makes it so fun.

That's because Obama isn't as Left as the extreme Right-wingers love to claim. For those of us that don't see him through hate-filled glasses, he comes off as pretty much a centrist. I'd like to see him move the Left and actually become the raging liberal your side claims he is. Then we'd both be happy.

Hardly. I'm unhappy with him as it is.

Just curious, but how many nonexistent winters will it take to convince you non-believers that we have and continue to screw up the planet? I mean, record tornadoes, ice caps and glaciers melting all over the planet, sea levels rising, monster hurricanes, droughts, weird weather patterns planet-wide, and yet you continue to believe the 2% of climatologists that doubt man-made global warming. So how many absent winters will it take to convince you all ? Is there even a threshold for you?

It feels like a cold, blustery wind is blowing out of Chicago, but we're having a wonderfully beautiful Spring day here in Oklahoma.

Spring came about two months early here...temps way up above normal the last couple months...again. I live in an area that is known for it's snowfall (the record is at nearly 40 feet in one season). Snowfall generally begins by December, occasionally snowing on Halloween (it's almost always bitterly cold by Halloween). There is always snow on Christmas, but a couple of years ago that almost didn't happen. The first real snow of the season happened overnight on Christmas Eve. It's definitely getting warmer here.

I just wanted to say that I hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful Spring day like we're having where I am. I mean, this weather is PERFECT...! Best enjoy it while we can, Summer is coming soon and it's probably going to be a hot one, but then, summers usually are....

I don't know about the rest of you folks, but Springtime here has been absolutely fantastic. "Perfect" would probably be a better word. Just like Spring should be. Here's hoping you're finding your Springtime just as enjoyable!
