Growing Number Of States Are Reporting Lower Than Expected Health Care Premiums

Compromises? Did Reid compromise with Pelosi or Obama? Politically speaking, compromise usually implies agreement between the 2 parties. Considering that no Republican voted for the bill, it does not sound like there was very much of a compromise to me.

 

Never tell Right-wingers good news about America. The worse things get the better they like it. It was never about America for them, it's about "their America". A twisted, selfish, white male, hatred strewn version of what America should never be. Fortunately, their kind is on the decline. We just have to let them thrash around until they die off. This country is strong enough to overcome their hatred of it. They can suck it.

But let us not forget what these "compromises" were...."I'll support Obamacare as long as my group is exempted from it's clutches".

Pelosi & Weiner were the 2 biggest proponents, in the House, but Pelosi's district had the largest number of exemptions granted & Weiner immediately petitioned to have his entire constituency exempted. The unions publically supported Obamacare after receiving a guarantee their entire membership would be exempted. And don't forget Nebraska & Louisiana. We all have to pay more because the deal cut to get their Senator's support.
