The US continuously arms the enemies of our enemies, but reacts with surprise when others do the same. The solution is a non-interventionist foreign policy. We won't get that, so dig in for a long and bloody siege.
Not shocked at the Iranians, their president has speeches about wanting to nuke us. Only question is can he make up his mind who he wants to nuke first, Israel, Us or the saudi's. Just shocked that the media and many americans just do not realize who their enemy is.

I guess having lived through the cold war with 40,000 nukes pointed at me for most of my life that could be launched on a minutes notice, the potential for Iran to build a few warheads and potentially build a delivery system in a decade or two is very unimpressive. The nuclear genie is out of the bottle and nobody is going to put him back. India and Pakistan only stopped fighting when both developed nukes. It would be more effective to direct our diplomatic and foreign policy toward figuring out how to live in a nuclear world than trying to kill people to prevent it from happening.
