You singled out the public school teachers of Wisconsin to deride with your comments and left out the policemen, the firemen, the nurses, and the civil servants. Then you contrasted these teachers with the people you work with. Wow! Just Wow! Like the people that teach and educate our young children should have to measure up the casino workers of the world. On the scale of things, I think every single card dealer, security person, and waitress should lose their job before one single teacher ever loses their job. Gambling is about the most crime filled organization in existence catering to the lowest elements in society while educators are among the most respected members of just about any society past or present, oh, except by the Right wingers of course. Union busting is a Republican nation-wide project. Walker admitted as much to the fake Koch caller. That makes it a bit more of everyone's business unlike a local election. I know you choose not to see that major difference but your self-imposed blindness does not translate to a disability on my part.

 

Heck, I don't think the individuals are thugs, most members don't even have the freedom to choose wether or not to even be members. It's the union organization that is the thug.

 

If Rahm Emanuel comes to Oklahoma, I'll be concerned. If busting collective bargaining privileges comes to Illinois, you can concern yourself. The cheesebaggers got themselves into this financial mess, but their leaders are taking steps to get them out and they're moving in the right direction. Leave Wisconsin to the Wisconsinites.

 

Actually, even according to the state government auditors of Wisconsin, they would have had no problem with their deficit over the next fiscal year except that their leader handed out millions in tax breaks to his wealthy campaign contributors. And, if the union busting succeeds in Wisconsin, there is a good chance it will carry over to other states. That makes it a national issue. I fail to see why you had so many opinions about Rahm Emanuel in a local election but when a national issue such as collective bargaining for public workers comes up, we should all mind our own business in your opinion. Is it because Walker is getting trounced on this issue and the Republican State Senators are getting recalled?
