Here's a TO SCALE rendition The top one represents the Obama inauguration crowd of an estimated 2 million. It went from The White House, all the way to the Washington monument. Beck's shindig Went from the Lincoln Memorial and stopped a little ways after the reflecting pool before the road. So, I'm guessing maybe 1/3 the size of the Obama inauguration? Doing the math, and using THAT as the guideline, I'd honestly have to guestimate about 600,000 Divided by 300,000,000 Americans that equals about .002% of the population Wow, so THAT'S what a majority of Americans looks like. . .
Not sure what you're trying to say. My point was the absurd skew the media estimates crowd size, by perceived ideology. As far as guessing the size of Beck's crowd. I'd guess it half of what you did, at around 300,000. That said. I'd also guess the crowd at Barry's inauguration is about half the 2 mil number that gets thrown around.
I'm not saying I disagree with you about the reported numbers, I'm just trying to put a comparison on some of these numbers. And you may be right, Obama may have been more like a million and this may have been about 300,000. But then, it is said WOODSTOCK had, from what I have been reading, anywhere from 300,000 to 500,000 Ariel shot: So if THAT is true, can we REALLY say 300,000 (conservative estimate) HERE as well? I'm not sure quite honestly. Michigan Stadium, holds 150,000 . .

There are people packed under the trees, Based on what I have heard of non-political groups (I think anyone trying to lie and say it was under 100,000 are clearly showing they are no longer a new group and are instead progressive activists) there was between 400 to 500 thousand people there. Not a bad turnout considering Bech is not running for a political office and this was not even geared or advertised as a political event.
