And now it is official. As it turns out, God just wanted Cain to make a website, not be President of The United States: http://thecainsolutions.com/ Next up on the "I'm Not Romney" dance stage....Newt.
So as it turns out the Cain train was derailed because the conductor chased a little too much caboose.
I think this is a sign of left-wing racism. How can this behavior cost a black man his chance of becoming president while creating a legacy for a white guy (like Clinton)?
It cost him it because he realised that the religious right (from which the Republican party draws much support) wouldn't support him. Comparing him to Clinton is neither here nor there, nor is playing the race card
But it was the RW that exposed him and pulled their support from his candidacy. The Left doesn't vote for the RW candidate nor do they have any say in which RW’er is the eventual nominee. But, this is somehow a sign of Left-wing racism. How convenient. What are you going to say when Newt implodes? The Left-wing hates fat pompous jerks? OK, you might have a point in that eventuality.
Hey now...Bachmann has a cool name and looks finer giving a speech then newt. At least I think she does for I didn't watch any of the debates. But shes got my vote so far.
So, with black guy gone, the lefties are now going after the female? The left wing sure won't rest as long as there's a conservative minority candidate, will they? Typical.
So what are you saying it is unfare of the opposing party to as you put it "go after" a candidate because they are classed as a minority? Please do remember this when you make future comments about President Obama or Mrs Clinton LOL
With "black guy" gone? Now going after "the female"? The black guy and the female? Really? First of all, females are a majority not a minority and second, "the black guy"? From what I can tell the Left can't rest until stupidity is stamped out once and for all.
OK, I'm a bit confused on this "left going after the minorities" thing. Ole Herman dug his own hole so why would the left even bother? As for Bachmann her polling numbers are pretty low right now. Is this because of the left? Or is it because of the right? Or is it because of the right following the left? The last scenario would be interesting don't you think? If the right is attacking Bachmann and it shows in the polls then that would indicate that the right is following the left. That would make the left right. Or would it make the right left? Or MAYBE there's a lot on the left just pointing their fingers and laughing.
It's interesting that the Democrats haven't run a female candidate on a presidential ticket since Geraldine Ferraro almost 30 years ago, but the Republicans ran one in the most recent presidential election. I'm not really making a point about this, I'm just noting that it's interesting.
Moen, it's not so much that women are "minorities" in that they are fewer in number than men. Rather, women are still fewer in number than men in many areas of business and politics. The disparity is becoming less and there are many women in positions of power both in business and in politics, but they are still perceived as "lesser than" the men in similar positions. Look at Michelle Bachman. When she started to be taken seriously as a candidate, much was made over her "crippling migraine headaches." How many men do you know would have been criticized as a candidate for headaches? Now, granted, she's not a fantastic candidate, but headaches shouldn't have even entered the picture. When you realize that women are still not considered equal partners in most professions or walks of life, then you can see how we can have "minority" status even with greater numbers.
