After all I get pretty much daily doses of Rush at work myself as well as Mancow Mueller. Mueller says he's a Libertarion but he sure does lean right.

Of course I can't listen in rapt attention as I do have to wait on customers. It's when I'm doing computer work that I catch these guys most. The computer is right by the radio. I can't escape!

There are times (not of often though) that I think Rush makes a valid point.

Mueller is actually kind of growing on me. Not because I agree but FIRST because he actually did go through water boarding. I respect him for that if nothing else.
Second is more important. He lends balance to his show and this a guy that came to Chitown as a shock jock rehashing OLD stuff.
His counterpart Cassidy can be quite the Liberal. They get along and make no mistake it's Mancow's show but he doesn't cut the mike if Cassidy starts going on a totally opposite viewpoint.

 

I won't disagree with that. A truly major gaffe IMO.

 

That's great. Then you get to listen to the same shows I get to on occasion. There are times when I can catch both shows. I really don't care for Mancow. I don't know why he does interviews. He's so anxious to talk again that he hardly gives the interviewees a chance to speak. A lot of talk show hosts get like that but he's the worst when it comes to that. I give the show a B- . Although, I haven't been able to listen to it for months.

I used to give him (Mancow) an F-. I also know what you are talking about in interviews. I listened to him try and talk down/over to Jesse Ventura about water boarding. He actually asked Ventura if he would do it to him. Ventura talked right over him and warned him that it wasn't a joke.
Yes, still some shock jock and ratings. Didn't say I loved the guy but he has come a long way.

 

I will give NPR the 10:00 am thru 1:00 PM spot all week, the Rush spot. High dollar real estate, lol. Lets see what happens. I will admit NPR is the first talk radio i ever heard at it was what hooked me.
