Having spent 26 years in the Air Force, I went to several different schools while on active duty. I didn't count any of the technical training I went through. Graduated from Niagara University. B.S. in Marketing with 3 years of accounting (God, I hated Cost Accounting). Small college, but they made the NCAA basketball tournament last year. Then I entered the REAL world and the REAL education started... it hasn't stopped since.
University of Illinois obviously I went there a couple of times. Its nice, but sorry too many big words being used there for just a 2 to 3 hour visit.
That's more or less what my father-in-law did, although he did it through the Army. He's still conversational in Russian, too. Myself, I mostly attended, and graduated from, Frostburg State University in western Maryland (with Richmond College in London thrown in as well), majoring in history.
