It’s a darned good thing that’s not your decision to make.

    It’s America’s . . . and America made it in November.

All I see is america committing suicide. That's what really gets me about this. You can talk about "tightening the belt" or whatever, but scientific research is an area that actually makes money as a whole. Any little bit you could shave won't make a dent either. It's pure culture war

I find it telling that you didn’t capitalize America. And this is far less suicidal than allowing the red Chinese to surpass us in air superiority. Not to forget it is a temporary measure. And reigning in federal spending was on the ballot. Always has been for me.

Ah, if it eases your mind, I wrote that on the way out the door using the swipe keyboard on my phone. It's not the most consistent in grammar, honest mistake :)

This is the kind of thing that happens when you introduce chaos with the precision of a sledgehammer to delicate systems.

Am I saying the crash is Trump's fault? Not directly. But the currently embattled federal budget (OBM) pause, firing the FAA head unceremoniously, and the like certainly have people distracted and worried.

They were distracted by other stuff before Trump was elected . . . the under-qualified always seem to have something else on their minds besides doing their job better than anyone else . . . the competent know they have nothing to worry about.

I don't know about you, but I check personal matters at the door when I go to work, and focus on my job, distractions be damned. That's professionalism . . . if they lack it, they do not belong.

Tough to do when the chaos and uncertainty is coming from the workplace itself

Not really interested in the questions? Wow. Is that because the answers don't fit your sheeple narrative?

Careers derailed? Answer my questions and you'll figure out why the funding was paused.
When the federal return to work mandate goes into affect, hundreds of thousands of federal employees are expected to take the offer to resign. Another incredibly welcome cut to the bloat called government.

When the former eggplant in the WH opened the borders and 10's of millions of criminals (yes, every single one of the illegal immigrants are criminals) crossed our border and invaded our country, you never said that was ruining our country. Quite telling. Unfortunately the amazing Tom Homan won't be able to successfully deport 100% of the illegals. That sucks.

Chemically castrating little boys because their deranged parents wanted to join the cult seemed to be ok with you too. 18 years old to join the armed service. 18 years old to legally sign a contract (buy a home, car, business deal), 18 years old to become legally emancipated from ones parents. Yet it's ok for a 9 year old to say they are 'convinced' they are the opposite sex and are encouraged by their teachers, administrators and parents to have gender reaffirming surgery. That's ok with you.

Send billions of dollars overseas for foreign 'aid' while our veterans suffer. Despicable.

Encourage the burning of cities, federal buildings, police stations, police cars, businesses, homes, all in the name of 'peaceful' protests by BLM and ANTIFA with nary an arrest, let alone a conviction. Yet truly peaceful protestors are jailed because they congregated and expressed their moral values at abortion clinics.

You know what @GeneWright, these are the things that disgust me about you and your ilk. And then you cry, whine, scream, and spread bald-faced lies about POTUS Trump in order to divide our country, all while claiming it's him that is causing the division.

Yes, and I do it, as do many others who possess a true work ethic.

I thought they were rhetorical, I don't have the answers and neither do you.

Well, we can't all be Übermensch in this new era.

    Funny . . .

There was a time when the common man . . . sorry, common worker would invest him / herself in their work, no matter who the employer was or what the work was.

No longer . . . this is the age of entitlement.

Let's see just how quickly realism comes to the entitled when they're uncomfortably hungry and cold while refusing to really work for a living wage.

That day is not far off. Prices are on the rise while credit card defaults are at a record high, banks have stopped lending, and governments can no longer print free money like they once did . . . the gravy train is coming to a halt.

One doesn't have to be the best craftsman, or the hardest or smartest worker, but he / she should sure as Hell be trying to be.

At the very least, they should be trying harder not to be tragemensch.

These destructive policy changes will come back to you all soon enough. I criticized Biden plenty during his time. I hope when things get bad, you all have the courage to call a spade a spade and hold your guy to account.

I can say with complete honesty. The only allegiance I have is to the red white and blue. I have and will hold Trump to account if his policies fail to deliver. I will say here and now that I wasn't proud that Trump used the air tragedy this week to rail against DEI. I feel as bitter towards DEI as anyone, however that was neither the time or place...... Look, this nation was on a fast track to failure and major civil unrest. A drastic turn had to be made and Trump had the moxy to make it. It may not feel good at first but that concerns me far less than what tomorrow may hold for my kids and grandkids. Trump is bombastic but is a true leader with vision. And I believe it is the right vision.

No, no it doesn’t unless it’s in the public sector and is not funded by the government.
