I watched a bit of preaching today on YouTube.

While I STILL keep hearing about Reverend Wright why don't we hear about these clowns? McCain backers here and he says nothing about their views. He appears on stage with them. What does that tell you? Speaks volumes to me. He sought out Parsley if I'm not mistaken.

If that's the case I sure as hell fear what McCain might do a lot more than those that have such great fear of Obama and what he might do.

World War III looks pretty good if you listen to these friggin morons.

    First the lovely Rod.

    How about some Hagee now.

I'm not saying that the Reverend Wright is right. What I AM saying is - why do have to search for this stuff? Why isn't it plastered all over the news?

Every bit as offensive as Wright but rarely comes up. Go figure.

McCain was not a member of their congregation for over 20 years.
McCain has not donated 20K to their church last year.
McCain did not have his children baptised by them.
McCain did not have them officiate his wedding.
McCain did not call them spiritual advisors and his mentors.
McCain did not write a book and title it with the name of their writings.

World War III will be the result of a weak America, not a strong one. They tried that threat before. Elect Reagan, we'll have WW3.

Pull out of Iraq before it is stable and let Iran take over....you'll have a real scary situation that could result in WW3

Put someone in the Whitehouse with no diplomatic experience and you'll have a real scary situation

Put someone in the Whitehouse who loaths the US military and you'll have a real scary situation

Sorry Clembo, but I have to say nice try, lol.;)

EDIT: It's no secret I despise McCain, but I have to keep it straight

Actually it is brought up pretty often but since it is such a stretch the argument is smacked down rather quickly.

Not saying that McCain wants WWIII guys. Doesn't seem the preachers would mind it though.

They DO back him and he DOES take their backing.

Are you going to tell me McCain isn't familiar with any of this? Has he denounced any of their rubbish? Hmmmm...maybe I do have a point that no one here will acknowledge.

I watched several clips of these idiots yesterday and frankly they are scary. They spew hate in the name of God and love. It's okay though because God is based on love.

How about the millions of Catholics in this nation or Lutherans? Think they like this drivel?

    Religious freedom folks.

This can not and should not be summarily dismissed. Until McCain says he doesn't agree what does that really make him. For all we know he may agree 100%.

Yeah, put me on the McCain trail it's so open and honest.

Again, nice try..I've seem McCain denounce them several times!! In fact, he was just on O'Reilly last night and made it clear that he denounced them.
I see McCain's association with the people you mentioned as the same type of association Obama has with Louis Farrakkan...it just really isn't there.
Now Jeremiah Wright is whole other issue (see earlier post).

I haven't made a secret of the fact that I'm no big fan of McCain, but he is head & shoulders above the other options. Keep grasping for those straws, Clem:)...it may pay off eventually!! Maybe a Romney or Huckabee will be resurrected!!

Clembo, the difference it THEY endorsed McCain, while Obama endorsed the Rev , only to pull out when it got in the way of his politics, 20 years worth of endorsements.

    Off to work..see ya !

The endorsed McCain kind of like how Hamas endorsed Obama. It is a little different than having a mentor and spiritual advisor.

Should McCain denounce them might be the question. But, I would say no he shouldn't if his denouncement is as dishonest as I think Obamas denouncement of Wright was.

Bob Barr announced today he is running as an Indie, you may remember him from the Clinton Impeachment, he was a player......

Now, those who dislike McCain have someone to vote for ( I have not looked into this guy yet ) maybe without pulling the Nader option

John McCain, you just keep on with your Global Warming tour and your amnesty and your Republican bashing. Operation Chaos Phase 2 , designed to get Republicans to cross over and vote for McCain will fail

Stirring up an old thread with some old stuff. What can I say?

For starters. Yes, McCain did not endorse Hagee but he sure did accept the endorsement.

As for McCain denouncing I DID watch the O'Reilly "denouncement". Not much there really. Especially with a friendly audience.

Seems today McCain actually DID denounce Hagee. Yes, I know this is OLD stuff but still carries weight. Think about it guys before I get the same old tired "nice try clembo". It's politics and politics are dirty.

This may not be a Reverend Wright story but it is surfacing. Like it or not. No matter if it's wrong, taken out of context (which it isn't) or not.

McCain felt enough heat when informed (in my opinion) to comment. ALL elections are ugly. This one is REAL ugly. Like it or not, agree with or not this stuff is all over the internet.

This is going to be one nasty election, we can all agree on that.

I wont give you the nice try. I will ask tho why you are so high on Obama. It's no secret, McCain is a friggin dirtbag. So is Obama. So is Hillary.

Yep, McCain was down and out, all but broke and near political death when he ran with the preacher, welcoming the ( any ) endorsement. Now, he'll distance himself from it. And he should. To tie him to those TV preacher loony tunes is like tying Obama to Farrakan, the case cannot be made solid, but a sliver of juice gets a whole lot of coverage.

You see, Clembo, the difference is this. Obama has hard, real ties to White. A hard, 20 year history with documentable evidence and influence. Books, baptisms, weddings, counceling, mentoring. Obama refused to renounce White for a long period of time, backing him up and calling him a member of the family.

When the White issue got tough, Obama started to back off. When White spoke in Detroit, saying exactly the same things he has said for 2 decades, Obama was " suprised" and " offended ". What a lying P.O.S. politician, and a racist one at that. Called his own Grandmother a " typical white person".

The only person in this whole mess who has not changed the story, and has not changed, is the Rev White. Obama threw him under the bus, a " family member ", for pure political reasons. Plain and simple. Not the new, not the fresh, not any other type of politician than the same old thing, lie lie lie and act like your audience wants you to act. Same thing McCain and Hillary is doing.

When you throw 3 desperate dirtbags in a burlap sack, it get real ugly, lol.
