It is also meant to distract from Romney's initial stupid comments on the Libya attacks. We are supposed to forget him attacking the president while our people were dying in Libya. It seems like that was a perfect example of why you don't run off at the mouth when the facts aren't known. I have yet to figure why it matters what the administration called the attack long before the facts had been gathered. It's like they were supposed to know everything instantly and announce it the second they could. What sense does that make in these situations? It sure didn't work for Romney. Yet, that is what the Right-wing idiots are demanding. Go figure stupidity, I can't. I find using this tragedy for political gain equivalent to the Right-wingers using 9/11 as campaign propaganda. There just seems to be no attack on this country that they will not use as a cynical ploy to get votes. Nauseating!
A quote from your clip; "Governor Romney, you are right. It took weeks [plural] for them to ....." and another clip saying Romney was right.
...and Romney at all, really. "Nothing to see here!" literally means just that. To be fair, I also blame the eagerness of the administration to appease the White House Press Corps and the nation. They released information too soon, and in a haphazard manner. At this point in an election year (or ever. really), they needed to keep the info-flow to the public at a minimum, and only release info that was verified and necessary to release. It doesn't, in a sensible World, but it's so close to a major election and nasty Republicans will pounce on anything and everything, on the hopes that the public will eventually listen to their bs. And it works, but they will pay a price for it eventually, once people have had enough of their bs and lies. I know, absolutely nauseating. Never mind the fact that if McCain was President, you wouldn't hear a @#$%^& peep out of them. McCain would be glorified for his excellent leadership, while Obama has been vilified for anything and everthing possible. In an odd way, I want Republicans to continue this bs, to push even harder. Maybe if they do, some of the undecideds and more reasonable Republicans will have had enough of this bs, and will abandon the party once and for all.
I watched some of this debate. I watched more today. President Obama won without a teleprompter. The score is tied 1-1.

All you're telling me Coin is that you just rely on polls even though you did have a nice post to this thread. Yeah, I read it. In the meantime. What's your point? Do you have one?
I don't rely on polls, but they're a better indicator than someone's opinion. I post them here so that those people who wouldn't otherwise get the correct news (not pundits, not blogs, not opinion pages, not MSNBC) can see them. Also, I post them for those folks who say things like "Obama is going to win" or "Romney is going to win" but without explaining how or why they think so. Perhaps they're clairvoyant and can predict the future. I don't know. They don't offer any evidence as to WHY or HOW they think so-and-so candidate will win. So, I post the only available indicator of how candidates are doing before the actual election and that is: polls. If you can provide me with any other data that indicates how candidates are doing before an election, I'll be happy to entertain your suggestions. Now, of course, poll number only indicate the preference of those polled. Election day can see a dramatic turnaround of these numbers. Or they can be a pretty good indicator of how the electorate will vote. Keep in mind that the amount of actual voters means very little due to the Electoral College. At this point time according to the polls, Romney would probably win the popular vote. However, Obama may win the Electoral College which is what really matters. Even though Romney may be more popular now, he is still going to have to carry several swing states in order to win the Electoral College. His numbers are rising in several swing states at this time, so anything could happen. This is going to be a very close election and either candidate stands a VERY good chance of winning the Electoral College.
At Last Night’s Debate: Romney Told 31 Myths (lies) In 41 Minutes During the first presidential debate in Denver, Colorado Romney managed to tell 27 myths in his 38 minutes of speaking time. But at his second encounter with Obama in New York, the GOP presidential candidate — who has run a post-truth campaign from day one — outdid himself and crammed 31 myths in 41 minutes: http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2...ts-debate-romney-told-31-myths-in-41-minutes/
Obama wins…………..…If……….….. lies are counted as truth and each one is not refuted. So, as far as the left is concerned, Obama got away with it in the debate. He got away with lying. He and Candy got away with it 'cause Romney didn't call 'em on the Libya lie. So in the corrupt world that is the left, a lie is counted as the truth. Obama won on points, Obama lied, Romney didn't refute it, slam dunk Obama.
