I can look at this two ways.

The first is that David is actually serious. Somehow I doubt it but it strikes me as funny.

The second would be an attempt at humor. If this be the case I would consider it a miserable failure.

Considering the source it's up in the air. Totally up in the air.

Not this college kid again! You know when I was back at the good old U of M my window was about 5 feet across from the building's window nextdoor which happen to be a fraternity. Often when I was in my room studying, they were having loud keggers until all hours of the morning. As you probably know, fraternities are conservative bastions reserved for wealthy young Republicans for the most part or at least they were on our campus.
On several ocassions, I witnessed the guy across from my room drag some young girl into his room that could barely stand up because she was so drunk. Then I would see three or four more guys walk into the room and take turns on this passed out girl. Now pretty much having sex with someone that is too drunk to give consent is rape in almost any state. So now am I to conclude that all young Republicans are rapists? It is the only conclusion I can come to if I use your logic.

Moen1305, JoeNation or whatever you're calling yourself these days, I have a few questions for you. Did you honestly actually witness these rapes? Be truthful, please. Did you take any action to prevent the rapes while they were occurring? Did you notify the authorities while the rapes were occurring and/or after they occurred? Can you be certain that the girls you saw DIDN'T give consent?

Rape is a serious felony and, if your accusations are true, the psychological, emotional and physical impact on those girls is beyond measure. You don't say how long ago this occurred, but those girls may still be suffering to this day. They could actually be waiting for someone like you to come forward in order to finally put an amount of closure on their ordeal. If any of those girls reported the rape and it went so far as trial where the defendant was found not guilty, your testimony could have changed the verdict. There are girls who may have been shamed by their families or communities because they couldn't prove rape. Whatever you witnessed could bring dignity back to those girls. Not only that, but your testimony could potentially have locked away a rapist (or multiple rapists) and prevented him from raping someone else.

As witnessed with the recent Penn State incident and the rapes of those little boys by Jerry Sandusky, it's never too late to come forward. There may be victims out there who need your testimony. Please do the right thing and notify the authorities. Let us know what they say. Thank you.

Funny how lil joe moen is always the first to begin the personal attacks yet he's also the first to complain when the tables are turned. He makes unfounded accusations with impunity here but when others bring up things he's posted it's construed into some sort of attack? I just don't understand or agree with the double standard.

LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR TO YOU DAVID ANY ONE ATTACKS YOUR FAMILY I WILL REMOVE THE POST AND CENSURE THEM. YOU ATTACK ANY ONES FAMILY AND I WILL DO THE SAME TO YOU. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PERSONAL ATTACKS OR DOUBLE STANDARDS AND YOU KNOW THAT SO END OF ARGUMENT OK

Says Paul Ryan's budget relies on the same $700 billion in savings from Medicare that Mitt Romney and other Republicans have been attacking Democrats about.

Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney were interviewed on '60 Minutes.'
Seems like just yesterday that the big Republican talking point was that Obamacare cuts $500 billion from Medicare. Now, it's $700 billion.
That's the number -- $716 billion to be precise -- that's gotten tossed around this week.
We've posted two fact-checks to explore the back and forth between the campaigns.
In an interview on the CBS program 60 Minutes, Mitt Romney said Obama "robbed Medicare" of $716 billion to pay for "Obamacare." We found that exaggerated what Obama had done in the health care law.
While the health care law reduces the amount of future spending growth in Medicare, the law doesn't actually cut Medicare. Savings come from reducing money that goes to private insurers who provide Medicare Advantage programs, among other things. The money wasn’t "robbed." We rated the statement Mostly False.
Responding to the Romney attack, Obama campaign spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter said Ryan's budget relies on the same $700 billion in savings from Medicare that Mitt Romney and other Republicans have been attacking Democrats about.
Ryan has confirmed that, and we rated it True.

So, the idiot who watched girls getting raped (your own words) is calling someone else a pervert. Now that we understand your morals, it puts a much better perspective on your ethos/political beliefs!

I MADE IT QUITE CLEAR TWICE THAT THERE WOULD BE NO ATTACKS ON FAMILIES AND NO ARGUMENT ABOUT THAT BUT DAVID DECIDED THAT THE WARNING DID NOT APPLY TO HIM SO HE HAS BEEN GIVEN 6 WARNING POINTS THAT WILL LAST FOR A WEEK. IF HE IGNORES MY WARNINGS AGAIN HE WILL BE SUSPENDED FROM THE FORUM.

Ummm...and I made it quite clear I was not attacking his family, I was merely rehasing a post he himself made in an open forum.
Why are you so afraid of this clown? He is without question the nastiest, most vile poster among us yet he glides along with impunity and when his little feelings get hurt he's the one you always run to protect. I don't get it.
...and in case I didn't mention it...I was not attacking his family (actually I sympathize for his family). I was referencing a post he made here, information he volunteered, for all to see....and I didn't twist his words, take them out of context or any of that other crap he claimed.

***and with this post I will gladly ban myself!!!!

As a supposedly impartial moderator on this forum, I realize that you have to use your own judgment in determining what you consider an "attack" on family members. However, I would like to ask what criteria you use in determining your judgment.

For example, let's say Member A of the forum reveals that his daughter has been the victim of rape. Several months later, Member B quotes Member A and adds, "When your daughter was raped did she inform the authorities and if she becomes pregnant from the rape how would you feel if she received an abortion"? Does quoting Member A and asking questions like that constitute an attack?

Now, let's say that Member B again quotes Member A and adds, "Your daughter deserved to be raped just because she's your daughter". Would you consider that an attack?

I'm trying to ascertain your criteria so I don't inadvertently run afoul of your judgment when I quote other members and add my own remarks.

You simply lie about my posts and pervert what I have said because you're a weirdo pervert. Why you would even care to judge my son and his former girlfriend, I can't even figure that out. My guess is that you have had an extended ongoing and pervert obsession with teenagers your entire adult life. It's just sick and you stay fixated on something you know nothing about and you seem to be the only one here with this sick fantasy. You might want to ask yourself why this fixation of yours persists far longer than even these kids brief relationship lasted. I know that people like you fantasize about teenagers but you should know how sick that is. Maybe one day with a lot of therapy or possibly incarceration you’ll figure out the error of your ways. I think you banned yourself because you have been found out. Remember one thing, this can all be used in court when and if you ever act on your obsession. Let's all hope that you never do or never have.

Perhaps if you'd have answered my questions in the original post I'd bother to detail my actions from 3 decades ago. You never did so I will not bother telling you what you want to know. Sucks to have to taste your own medicine doesn't it?

I see. You pose questions to a general audience but expect me, specifically, to answer. I pose questions directly to you, but you decline to answer. I didn't expect you to have an answer to my questions and you've proven me correct. You are what is commonly known as a weasel.

I am reminded today after I underwent a minor diagnostic medical procedure (If you’re over 50 you’ll know which one. J) that the Affordable Care Act has had real benefits for real people. I simply don’t understand why people are so willing to trust insurance companies that have proven just how single-mindedly focused they are on profits over people in the last couple of decades but have a difficult time trusting our government (We are the government by the way) to regulate health care insurers, a industry that is already exempt from anti-trust laws. The lack of competition has bloated the insurance industry with profits and caused health care costs to skyrocket while less people are insured and less and less procedures are covered and things like co-pays increase annually and we essentially have bean counters in the industry actively denying claims and capping benefits to increase profits.

For years, insurance companies have been telling new mothers that they may only stay in the hospital 24 hours after a delivery, outpatient procedures are more common than hospital stays, you must pre-approve your doctor ordered procedures and wait for the insurer to decide if it is covered, and thousands of other restrictions that put the insurance company you are paying squarely between you and your doctor. Isn’t this essentially like one giant death panel based on profits? Sure it is.

Now along comes the ACA and the insurance companies are finally being forced to actually spend some of the money they take in on patient care, preventative medicine, birth control, co-pay free diagnostic procedures and not a billion dollars a year on CEO salaries and all you hear from some people is that Guberment is taking over health care. I am realizing the benefits today of a course correction long overdue in the health insurance industry. I saved $175 co-pay today and that is real money. I didn’t have any government panel telling me anything. This is the first time that the cost of health care for me personally has gone in the other direction. My son is leaving for college this fall and he can remain on my health insurance. That saved me over $900 a semester minus the additional premiums that having him on my plan would cost. These are real savings and most of the ACA hasn’t even kicked in yet.

Now I have to ask. Why are there idiots out there defending insurance companies when we have a president that has made tangible gains in bringing down the cost of health care for people like me and insuring more people along the way? Do you have stock in the insurance industry or something? And Romney wants to repeal this new law.

He did not "lie about your posts". You absolutely posted exactly what I quoted and David commented on. Why de orc will not let us quote your own post escapes me.

Also, he was not judging your son or his former girlfriend one bit. He was judging your ability to rear them and instill something resembling morals in them.

And in direct opposition to your savings, my son-in-law just got the kit for next year's health insurance. It went up $10,000. So I guess he is paying for your savings - and then some. Kind of sounds like "from each according to ..........", but then you say he is not a communist.

I doesn't surprise me that Davy's little lapdog defends his lies because you lie equally as much as he does. You haven't again and again come back to this stupid topic like that pervert does but defending him makes you just as bad. My son is none of either your or his business and you both should have dropped your judgments a long time ago but you just can't. Maybe you're just two sick puppies feeding off of each other's illness. Grow up ya old coot!

I write in English. I am not sure what language you are reading, but I have said, implied, stated, written, or any other verb you choose anything what-so-ever about your son. I pity the poor kid. The fact that he has survived this far despite a father as ignorant and amoral as you speaks well of him.
