Well, after the last president, we're pretty used to tongue tied and twisted fools. At least the current pres can pronounce most of the words correctly and doesn't go off on tangents about gynecologists practicing their love with their patients.

 

If he could just learn how many states there are. Oh, and then there are those corppppsemen.

 

LOL rlm's cents. I cringe every time I hear him say "corpsemen." I hate to admit it, but when I found out that Obama's teleprompters had been stolen, I laughed. I had to wonder how he was going to have a coherent speech after that.

 

Get ready for an all-new round of loops featuring his "ums" & "uhs" and don't expect any impromptu questioning.

 

He comes prepared. He has multiple sets of backups and I am sure we (the taxpayers) paid to have another set at the ready for him.

 

Oh well, we live in hope! LOL I understand that all public speakers use some kind of props to help them with their speeches, but Obama's reliance on his teleprompters has become legendary. I can't imagine what he'd be like speaking all of the time without them.

 

Why doesn't he just wear an earpiece & parrot whatever is being said in his ear? It's really no different than reading what someone else has written for him on the teleprompter, is it?

If you're relying on Beck and Limbaugh to make your point for you, then you are seriously behind the times. Beck is no longer on Fox and Limbaugh has been independent, as far as I know, for a long time. The first has his heart in the right place, I think, but is a clueless conspiracy theorist and the second is, well . . . um . . . how can I say this and not get banned?

 

.....and, speaking for myself, I don't watch Fox. I realize it's left wing dogma to claim everyone on the right watches Fox but it really isn't true.
