I've started this thread to discuss Operation Epic Fury, the name for the U.S./Israeli military strike which began February 28, 2026 against the evil Iranian regime. This thread is meant for all comments, both pro and con about the operation.

Communists (and I would presume that Communists on this very forum - unless they state otherwise) are against freedom and liberty for the Iranian people.

Anti-US protesters funded by pro-China tycoon mobilize as first bombs fall on Iran

Nonprofits funded by tech tycoon aligned with the Chinese Communist Party unleash anti-US protests and propaganda supporting the regime in Iran

    February 28, 2026

In the dark of the night, 10 minutes before President Donald Trump even announced that the U.S. and Israel had attacked Iran, a network of U.S. nonprofits aligned with China, Russia and Tehran activated foot soldiers to hit America's streets.

Groups funded by Neville Roy Singham, a Shanghai-based, American-born tech tycoon, which regularly parrot messaging from America's adversaries, swung into action even as the initial bombs were dropping. The nearly instantaneous response was the latest salvo in an information war on the U.S., with foot soldiers called upon to converge in protests and echo anti-U.S. talking points.

At 2:34 a.m. ET, the ANSWER Coalition, a nonprofit project whose leaders self-describe as Marxist and communist, announced: "EMERGENCY NATIONWIDE DAY OF ACTION TODAY, SAT. FEB 28 — STOP THE WAR WITH IRAN!"

It announced its network: groups that have long supported the regime in Iran, including the National Iranian American Council, 50501, American Muslims for Palestine, the People’s Forum, Palestinian Youth Movement, and CodePink. The organizations haven't responded to requests for comment. Singham did not respond to a request for comment.

The network set the language for their anti-U.S. messaging, calling the war an "unprovoked, illegal bombing of Iran." It even set up a website domain for the coordinated actions: http://ANSWERCoalition.org.

BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL: LEFT-WING GROUPS DEFIANT AS GOP SHEDS LIGHT ON GROUPS TIED TO CHINA

Ten minutes later, at 2:44 a.m., Trump posted a video, confirming the attack on Iran, telling the world: "A short time ago, the United States military began major combat operations in Iran.

Eight minutes later, at 2:52 a.m., the People’s Forum — a New York-based activist hub funded by Singham as an "incubator" for socialist groups — issued an "emergency" call to action for a protest in Times Square.

Why do you suppose Iran lobbed missiles at Qatar? That makes about as much sense to me as the US lobbing missiles at the UK.

No one yet knows how much this operation will cost. But, whether it amounts to more or less than the pallets of cash Obama gave Iran in an attempt to appease them, the end result is much, much more satisfactory. :D

No matter how hard the liberals try to spin it, taking out this Hitler in a turban is a good thing:

The winds of freedom are blowing for Iran tonight! You're welcome, Iran.

Iranians celebrate worldwide after supreme leader is killed in Israeli strikes

Videos showed people across Iran and all over the world honking horns, cheering and waving flags as news of ayatollah's death spreads

    February 28, 2026

Iranians across the country could be seen and heard celebrating the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei after coordinated Israeli strikes overnight.

In one video, Iranians near Karaj, Iran, outside the capital of Tehran, took to the streets, honked their horns and cheered.

In social media videos, Iranians in Tehran cheered from their apartments, playing loud music and setting off fireworks as the news spread.

In Fuladshahr, people packed the streets, waving their arms in the air, whistling, honking and cheering over the news.

In Borazjan, Iran, celebrants chanted and, in Mamasani, they waved flags and danced.

People also celebrated in the Iranian cities of Shiraz and Abadan, "where the people are out on the streets till the wee hours of the night in celebration of an Iran that is on the brink of finding its freedom after almost five decades," according to Lisa Daftari, editor at The Foreign Desk.

Iranian people also cheered the news in other parts of the world, such as Madrid, London, Berlin, Armenia and the United States.

"Iranian people all over the world, from Los Angeles to Tehran, are on the streets celebrating [in] sheer jubilation over the dawn of a new and free Iran," Daftari told Fox News Digital.

"Iranians poured onto the streets cheering, clapping, waving the lion and sun flag, dancing openly and singing the old national anthem. It’s hard to imagine a people so starved for freedom, so desperate for justice, that they are cheering military strikes on their own soil as the price of liberation."

Fetterman urges Americans to ‘celebrate’ Khamenei’s death

    Fetterman.jpg

    February 28, 2026

Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., said he was “proud to stand with the president” after the Iran operation.

Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., urged Americans to “celebrate” the strikes on Iran that killed Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

“That was just profound and incredible,” he told Fox News’ Sean Hannity. “This was one of the most evil people that ever lived, and after 37 years in Iran, he's been eliminated. I can't imagine why Democrats, Republicans, everyone can't celebrate that, because tens of millions of people in Iran are absolutely celebrating.”

Fetterman added that he is “proud to stand with the president” and Israel, calling the moment “historic.”

It doesn't surprise me in the least that a Communist such as Mohran Zamdani criticizes Operation Epic Fury. I have no doubt that there are many New Yorkers who regret voting for this s**tbag.

Mamdani's response to Trump's Iran strike sparks conservative backlash: 'Rooting for the ayatollah'

NYC socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani faces conservative backlash after condemning Trump's Iran strike that killed Ayatollah Khamenei, calling it an illegal war.

New York City's socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani is facing blowback from conservatives on social media over his post condemning the U.S. attack on Iran that led to the killing of Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

    images.jpg

On Saturday, as a joint strike on Iran by the United States and Israel was developing, Mamdani blasted the Trump administration's decision in a post on X that has been viewed roughly 20 million times.

"Today’s military strikes on Iran — carried out by the United States and Israel — mark a catastrophic escalation in an illegal war of aggression," Mamdani wrote.

"Bombing cities. Killing civilians. Opening a new theater of war. Americans do not want this. They do not want another war in pursuit of regime change."

Mamdani said Americans prefer "relief from the affordability crisis" before speaking directly to Iranians in New York City.

"You are part of the fabric of this city — you are our neighbors, small business owners, students, artists, workers, and community leaders," Mamdani said. "You will be safe here.

"The post was quickly slammed by conservatives on social media making the case that Mamdani's response appeared sympathetic to Iran's brutal regime and pointing to his lack of public reaction to the Iranian protesters killed in recent years.

"Comrade Mayor is rooting for the Ayatollah," GOP Sen. Ted Cruz posted on X. "They can chant together."

"Do u say anything pro American ?" Fox News host Brian Kilmeade posted on X. "do u know any Iranians - ? they hate @fr_Khamenei they celebrate his death, you should be celebrating his death ! hes killed thousands of American’s and just killed 30k Iranians, did u even say a word about that? You are an embarrassment !! Please quit."

"I don’t feel safe in New York listening to someone like you, Mamdani, who sympathizes with the regime that killed more than 30,000 unarmed Iranians in less than 24 hours," Iranian American journalist Masih Alinejad posted on X.

Well, that was quick! Without that bastard Khameini in charge, Iran is now willing to enter into diplomatic discussions. They know the regime is coming to an end.

Trump says Iran's 'new potential leadership' has contacted US, asked to talk: official

President Donald Trump says potential new leadership in Iran has contacted the U.S. and said they want to speak with the president, a senior White House official told Fox News on Sunday.

Trump indicated that he does plan to talk with replacement Iranian leadership soon, but the White House says Operation Epic Fury is continuing nonetheless.

"President Trump said new potential leadership in Iran has indicated they want to talk and eventually he will talk. For now, Operation Epic Fury continues unabated," the official said.

I saw this on Facebook. So true:

This image should never be forgotten - American sailors forced to their knees by Iranian forces, hands behind their heads in humiliating surrender, captured and paraded on Iranian state television in January 2016! Under Obama’s weak leadership, our Navy personnel were treated like prisoners while the world watched our dignity stripped away. It was the ultimate symbol of American weakness projected by an administration that chose appeasement over strength!

The incident happened just as Obama’s disastrous Iran nuclear deal was being implemented, with billions in cash flowing to the regime that had literally just seized and humiliated our sailors! Instead of a decisive military response to deter future aggression, Obama chose diplomacy and celebrated their release after fifteen hours as some kind of victory. The media and the left completely downplayed it, treating Iran’s act of war as a simple “navigational error” rather than the international humiliation it truly was!

Now compare that disgrace to President Trump’s response to Iranian aggression - he eliminated their Supreme Leader and dismantled their terror network! Those kneeling sailors deserved better than Obama’s weakness, and Americans deserve leaders who understand that respect comes from strength, not from begging tyrants for favors. We must never forget how dangerous the world becomes when American resolve falters! Trump has restored the strength those sailors deserved!
