Political Debate....

hey, it was just a theory...and in essence it serves that purpose...anytime someone starts ranting and bickering in the coin area some moderator directs them to take it to the PRWE forum...So it might not have been created for that purpose, but it seems, in part, to serve that purpose anyway.

 

Well not exactly. But there are some subjects that we do not allow to be discussed in the "coin" sections. And if someone brings up one of those subjects, then they are told that oif they wish to discuss that subject that they may do so in the PRWE section.

A bit different than ranting or bickering. If ranting and or bickering starts it is simply stopped - it is not sent elsewhere. A rather important difference I would say.

 

sure, I have seen people start bickering and told to bring it here...ranting might be a bit harsh...lets say, as you say, they get on a line of 'discussion' that isnt coin related, I have seen moderators point them in this direction...but certainly I have seen topics turn into bickering and go off topic and a moderator suggest they take it here then stop the topic...seems accurate to me. wont argue semantics. This forum seems to serve as a place to throw off topic unwanted lines of 'discussion'...

 

Yes we are the unwanted, unloved child of CoinTalk LOL but the really good thing about this forum is that the members who are here have to choose to be here and as you will have seen from posts elsewhere we are not easy to find. This forum is basically what you all have made it
Here we allow flaming to a degree as long as it don't get too hostile then I will step in, I try to be as impartial as I can be (Ok I will make mistakes) if I get something wrong pm me. If anyone goes to far and ignores warnings then they will end up suffering the ultimate penalty 'The Aidan Treatment'

I wont tollerate the following
Foul & Abusive language, including images
Racist comments
Pornography
Childish name calling
and no hair splitting on what constitutes the above LOL

We are not asking you to love each other but to at least try to behave like mature adults :whistle: No one forces you to be here so I will say this you dont like it here then leave
