Recent judical decision

I understand there has been a recent adverse judicial decision concerning one of the (Upper-Level/Top Three) TPGs. This decision could send shock waves thru the hobby. Please be careful.

TPG is a "Third Party Grading" company. Here is a valuable link provided by my (A.G. Edwards & Co.) stock-broker this morning. Read the message board. I won't go into the details of his e-mail but he, knowing I'd dabbled in this area felt compelled to warn me.

I don't understand is CLCT a numismatic grading company. Hardly one of the (Top Three) you alluded too, never even heard of it.

 

CLCT is the main company and PCGS grading is a subsidiary. I know you've heard of those guys

Yeppers, that's the one. I'm not a real big fan or the process, but I do buy slabbed coins on occasion, just for the coin with no regard to what company put it in the plastic. I've cracked out a few over the past year
