Really, good post? There's a thread in here that has nearly just you and Tomc going back and forth with insults. Are they good posts too? I mean I know you think yours were, but were his too? I havent commented on anything youve posted in a while but you seem unable to help yourself. So since you spoke for David in the Rand Paul head stomping thread, I'm wodering why you didnt ask him if he thinks the guy who's foot was on the girls head shouldve been punished. I asked him a few times and got no answer. Now I know he likes to bust chops and gets a kick out of being a jerk, but you dont strike me as someone who does. Maybe I'm wrong. But his silence on the subject indicates to me that he does not feel the way(as you stated)'' everyone'' else does. Yet you want me to drop it. Truthfully I have never seen you ask David to drop his ''answer the question'' tirades. Why is that? I mean I know why, but maybe you can explain it to the rest of the gang.

Youre very quick to lash out on those you dont like. But stupid and dumb posts are everywhere here. And by everyone. I dont see you telling Vess that Glen Beck does NOT have a dedicated phone line for the Whitehouse. That it is just a gimmick. Or is it that you believe it too? And I find that hard to believe. I mean youre not an idiot. Or are you selective on who you chide for the benefit of the likes of him and David? Dont answer that. I know the answer. I mean Vess seems to believe it as stongly as Tomc see belives Bush machine gunned the passengers on Flight 93. But Vess gets a pass from you. Just odd to me is all. But Vess is just a ''monkey see monkey do'' kind of guy. If you noticed he has taken the liberty of using your trademark ASS CLOWN phrase. I dont think he has ever had an original thought. But alot lot of guys like David and Moen get upset if someone disagrees with them. They get all defensive and insulting. I'm just not going to let someone get away with doing that to me is all. Its just a thing. I'm sure you wouldnt allow anyone here to call you names and let it slide off your back, right?

 

Is this a serious post? You are guilty of everything you just accused me of doing. You run around insulting David at every turn the same way I do with Tomclown. At least my insults (clown) are consistent and PG. You certainly are much harder on David and Vess than Tomclown or Moen. Are you selective on who you chide?

The truth is that I don't bother arguing with David or Vess because I know that you, Moen, and Tomclown will take care of that. And my defense of David was simply to get you to stop doing what you always do in what I thought was a decent thread at the time. I don't think it is possible to defend the idiot who stomped on a girl who was prone on the ground but if you are really concerned, I will ask him.

Hey David, do you think the guy (Proffitt?) should have been punished for stomping on that girl at the Rand Paul rally? Inquiring minds want to know!

The reason I didn't answer you in the other post is simple: I felt like I had made my opinion abundantly clear to you. You were being "typical craig" so I decided to ignore your silliness. Simple enough?
You know, craig, there is a reason so many here equate you with a tomc. As sure as his posts are going to be self-pitying hate-filled baseless rants yours are going to be annoying word-twisting goofiness...nitpicking I believe is the word that has been used to describe you. My advice to you would be to consider actually thinking things out, maybe go to the extreme of composing a rough draft, before posting. If what you post begins to make sense, more here may take an interest in what you have to say. Just a thought.

 

FYI, That isn't going to shut him up because technically, you didn't answer the question. It is a simple yes or no David, do you thin Proffitt should face punishment for stomping that girl?

Now I'm going to do something that very few people here do (are you listening tom? Dr moen? peter?).

I do not think the guy should be prosecuted. At this point, every argument made has the benefit of 20/20 hindsight. In the heat of the moment, with the adrenaline flowing, we really don't know how we are going to respond. The lady got what she deserved by pushing towards a political candidate who apparently felt a threat was possible (or else there would have been no security detail to start with) while wearing a disguise. Sure, the PC thing to do would be to say what a bad guy this Proffit is but the truth of the matter is he responded to a perceived threat, with what 2 seconds, to assess & act?

 

I think you should make that photo of the ass your avatar. It seems fitting.

 

OK, you are wrong. They had every right to attempt to detain her if they perceived her as a threat. But once she is immobilized on the ground, they have the same responsibility that the police would have not to use excessive force. The stomp was completely unnecessary and obviously excessive. The guy should be charged with assault while the other two guys should be commended.
