The point is: Teach your kids about the dangers of having sex. They know about pregnancy, but sometimes are dumb enough to think they can't get pregnant, or can't get someone pregnant.

If parents can do it, fine, but schools are the best place to teach kids about sex issues, because parents tend to be too scared (or too dumb) to teach their kids about sex issues themselves.

Please try to remember that this is a political forum and, being such, we're going to talk about our president. Unfortunately, there is quite a bit of negativity to talk about when it comes to Obama. If he was doing a good job, there would be little to talk about. But, with his scandals, the healthcare debacle, his encroachment on Constitutional rights, his weakness in foreign policy, his racism, his back-and-forth flip-flopping on gay marriage, etc. he definitely provides a lot of fodder for discussion. Too bad you don't want to discuss the issues.

As far as not understanding IQ<1... who even cares to understand him? Personally, I think he's a partisan hack who offers little, if anything, to the discussions on this forum. Mostly, he just parrots what others are saying. You, too, are becoming quite the parrot yourself. Come up with something original and thought-provoking once in a while, please.

The difference between us is more than just our finances, it's has a lot to do with our abilities to understand concepts. I'll win that argument every time.

I chose to work multiple jobs & put myself through school. You?
I chose to work hard, save money, invest wisely & live frugally. You?
Rather than expecting others to pay my way, I did what I needed to do to make sure I wouldn't be a burden on someone else. You?

I am guessing that my aunt (who owned their farm) made less that you did for virtually her entire life. Although after working the farm for 50+ years, they did find gas on her land. And my guess is that SHE did more physical work in any year of her adult life than you have yet done in all of your life.

 

Good point! iqless has spent years, here, giving us every excuse in the book to justify why he refuses to work & pay his own way. If he put half the time into doing something constructive that he does in creating ways to avoid work we probably wouldn't be having any of these conversations.

As for Obama, not liking the guy is one of the few things we agree on. But you're consumed by him. Do you realize that you haven't had a non-Obama related avatar for months and months? You don't even know what specific aspect of sex ed was being questioned...if I remember correctly, his questions were in regard to a democrap move to teach sex to kindergarteners. I didn't realize you were so focused on my avatar. You're making me blush. Obama is the center of the maelstrom so it's appropriate that my attention is focused on him. Is that all you have to do these days but attack my avatar? Wow.

"Freak me out"? No. Concern me? Yes. Just as it should concern everyone, liberal or conservative.

 

What you call freaking out, I call responsible concern...concern for the direction of our country. You don't have to worry about it, but I have to think about what's going to be left for my kids & my grandkids. This "new normal" BO has created should alarm everyone. In a mere 4 1/2 years, BO has created an atmosphere where high unemployment, decreasing wealth and an ever expanding government is widely accepted by a good chunk of the population.

 

You have to admit, you are just a bit obsessed with hating Obama the same way FOX is, the same way the Tea Party wackos are, the same way ALL the extreme wing nuts are. It's obvious to us but probably less obvious to someone as involved in it as you are I suppose.

I recently found out that the young couple that lives just down the street from me are a couple of Tea Party nuts. I guess my first clue was that they hung a "Don't Tread on Me" flag on their house over the 4th. They've only lived in the neighborhood a short time and the only interaction I have had with them is finding the guy's wallet loaded with money and credit cards in the street and knocking on his door to return it. He stared at me as if I had stolen it and never even said thank you. The guy never waves at anyone. His wife seems nice but timid and is almost never seen outside of the house.
One day, I watched this guy spraying weed killer on his lawn while his 2-year old played around him and I almost walked over and tore him a new one but I resisted. This guy seems like a total idiot which explains his association with the Right. I know you'll put some silly spin on this story and bring it up over and over while actually knowing exactly nothing the way you always do. The point was that you have to be an idiot in the first place to be a Tea Party nut not that it is a requirement or anything to join but it really, really helps.

 

Really? Because unemployment has decreased over the last 4 1/2 years, the deficit is plummeting, the government is the smallest it's been in years, and the economy is growing again. I guess we can't leave that kind of America for the kids and grand kids can we? We should go back to the Bush policies that drove this country off the fiscal cliff and really screw the next generation eh? How did all those tax cuts Bush hand out to the wealthy work for job creation anyway? Oh yeah, not at all. You can't seem to even learn from recent history.

I would admit no such thing. I'm not obsessed with Obama, just concerned about what he's doing to this country. I enjoy having lively discussions about the direction this country is headed under his leadership. That's all.
