My question is, who in their right mind, an American that is, would want to go to the freakin UK? What is Savage worried about, he should count his blessings.
Ah so we are the Freking Enemy now Jack is that it!! Strange that so many of your Countrymen dont seem to thinks so isnt it
My daughter visited London and it blew her away. She thought the people were weird though because they would get awkward when you made eye contact. W'ZUP WIT DAT
Sorry Jack but I have to say it and really ONLY YOU can understand because you've met me. TEA MY FRIEND! A civilized and tasty brew. Nectar of the Gods! When I travel I bring my tea with me. In the UK would I really need to? This whole thing got me back to thinking about an Irish family I have known for years. The Fitzpatricks with eight kids. Catholic can you guess that? I was good friends with Jim in high school. Saw Mrs. Fitzpatrick brewing up some tea one day and commented on it. As far as I know I was the only one of the kids' friends to EVER sit down and have a cup of tea with her. A nice cup of tea with one lump and a nice chat. From then on it was always "would you like a cup of tea Dan" in that wonderful Irish accent and I rarely said no. Loose leaf tea and the nice porcelain. An honor and a privilege believe me. On the basis of tea alone I would LOVE to go to the UK, sit in quaint houses in quaint villages and enjoy a lovely cup of tea. Call me strange but I see enough people on this side of the swamp that rave about a cup of McDonald's coffee. YUK! No culture and no taste.
