To turn around sagging approval polls the President must do the following.... Obey the Supreme Courts ruling on tariffs. Fix the high cost of living for struggling American consumers Make it illegal for credit card firms to charge more or less, "loanshark" interest rates. Set interest rate at 5% Pressure Putin, not Zelenskyy to end Russia's War on Ukraine. Implement punishing sanctions (Graham Bill) and sell Ukraine via EU, Tomahawks, Patriots.... Stop debasement of US Dollar, back on gold standard? End Khameini Regime in Iran, install a Democratic Govt. Shah? Make physical fitness a mandatory program from kindergarten till 18. Would save a ton on healthcare costs. I would know, I have never been sick in my life, walk 300K @ wk. Make "junkfood" obsolete. Educate people to eat healthy non processes food. Ban all smoking materials, from cigarette-weed all causes cancer. Save healthcare billions. No "Cultural Property" import bans. Coin collectors should be allowed to own all coins sold at auctions. Make it mandatory from kindergarten on, to ingrain in into their brains, ALL drugs are bad, they all end up killing you, or causing cancer etc., from smoking pot to hard drugs. Bring back the classical engraved postage stamps, and make, "Beautifull coins again", like Barber/ Morgan/ St. Gaudens/ designs. Use old fashioned engraving, not computer created crap. Even the Turban Heads from 1800s Eagles/ Half Eagles.
I used to be a motorcycle guy and remember the heartburn we felt as a group when helmet laws were pushed on us… Of course it makes sense and is the safe way to ride. But being American means having the opportunity to choose…… Telling Americans to leave donuts and Big Macs alone is akin to telling a five year old to stay out of be cookie jar.
I am German, and feel the same way, Thats why I wish we had autobahns here in Canada / no speed limits! Furthermore, we Germans see NO problem in kids having a beer or glass of wine with our meals, drinking laws are insane. I was brought up with alcohol, bring beer to work, never a problem. Just be responsible. Ditto for Canadian gum laws, guns DO NOT kill people, its criminals that do. Criminal laugh at our restrictive firearms policies. Plus, donuts and Harvey cheeseburgers are good, just not every day. Heck, I eat 4 homemade cinnamon buns for breakfast with freshly brewed starbucks coffee, 365 days a year. Probably consumed Kidding aside, I hold the Guiness book record 50K cinnamon buns in past 40 years, my waist is still 29 like in highschool. I never wear a shirt during the Summer, I am darker then a Somali, never had a sunburn or skin issues. I am a conservative libertarian, less Govt. the better, but do believe in law and order. But, any illicit drugs are EVIL. You are right, some Americans who like Russia, should go over and see what its like.
