I'll say it again though... most Republicans will rally behing the nominated candidate, despite his or her shortcomings. IMO, Romney will be the likely candidate. I myself used to have visions of satan when I saw his mug (during the previous election), imagining little horns popping out of his head. I know, demonizing an opponent is in poor taste, but that's what I saw lol ...that said, and since I feel like it... I'll give Romney a 66.6% chance of wrapping-up the nomination. ...and most Republicans will vote for him. I'll go further and say if McCain hadn't been in the last race, Romney may have been the nominee. IMO, one of the major reasons Romney didn't make the cut was that McCain was more powerful an influence on the process, that he was owed too many favors to be usurped by Romney. Just a guess though lol
Did you see me NOT read it? You're so good at reposting everything else, why not just repost both of your previous posts? You do it all the time, why not now?
I think Romney is just the personification of the corporatist/oligarch pretty boy. Even his fellow Cons have hated his guts for years. The Evangelicals think his religion is a cult and no independents can muster any excitement over his nomination. If Wall Street was a voting bloc, and of course it is, they'd certainly jump up and down for Romney. Financially, they already have because they know just who he'll cater to when all is said and done, and it isn't main street. The guy is the original, "I have to spend the first 2 years of my administration paying everyone back with political favors", type of guy.
