I'm surprised, during my latest hiatus, no one brought up the attack leveled against Ann Romney & stay-at-home-mothers by Debbie Wasserman Shitz's DNC spokesperson. What does the left have against stay-at-home-mom's anyway?

Nothing. People just don't care for the super wealthy pretending to be "just like everyone else". It's quite disingenuous and rather disgusting.

Considering that CNN's employee Hilary Rosen has nothing to do with either the DNC nor the Obama Administration, and considering everyone from the top down on the Left has already denounced her comment, what exactly is Mitt Romney waiting for by not denouncing Nugent's comments given that he sought the endorsement of Ted Nugent? Kind of a double standard there eh?

Secret Service calls Nugent over anti-Obama screed

WASHINGTON — Rocker and gun rights champion Ted Nugent says he will meet with the Secret Service on Thursday to explain his raucous remarks about what he called Barack Obama's "evil, America-hating administration" — comments some critics interpreted as a threat against the president.

"The conclusion will be obvious that I threatened no one," Nugent told radio interviewer Glenn Beck on Wednesday. Nugent said he'd been contacted by the agency and would cooperate fully even though he found the complaints "silly."

The controversy erupted after the self-styled "Motor City Madman" made an impassioned plea for support for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney during the National Rifle Association meeting in St. Louis last weekend. "We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November," Nugent said of the Obama administration.

He also included a cryptic pronouncement: "If Barack Obama becomes the next president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year."

Outraged Democrats circulated the remarks and suggested they were threatening. Secret Service spokesman George Ogilvie confirmed that the agency was looking into the matter but declined to give details. "We are aware of the incident and we are taking appropriate follow-up," Ogilvie said.

Nugent said he was simply trying to galvanize voters. The hard rocker, best known for `70s hits like "Cat Scratch Fever," is a conservative activist and has a history of heated and sometimes vulgar criticism of Obama. Nugent endorsed Romney after speaking to him last month.

Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz called on Romney to "condemn Nugent's violent and hateful rhetoric."

Let's talk about this outstanding Right-winger.

High Times interview Ted Nugent, October, 1977: How did you get out of the draft?

Nugent: So I got my notice to be in the draft. Do you think I was gonna lay down my guitar and go play army? Give me a break! I was busy doin' it to it. I had a career, Jack! I ceased cleansing my body. No brushing teeth, no washing hair, no baths, no soap, no water. Thirty days of debris build. My hair was gettin' kinky, matted up. I just had chips, Pepsi, beer, syrup. Then a week before, I stopped going to the bathroom. I did it in my pants. Shit, piss the whole shot. My pants got crusted up. I was a walking, talking hunk of human s**t.

    Such a patriot.

And, she has had more trips (4 times as many) to the White House as Petraeus. Makes you kind of wonder, doesn't it?

Righties have pounced on this, since they are in desperate need of improving their own image when it comes to women.

However, despite their attempts to paint lefties as "anti-women", they will ultimately fail. Women are far smarter than righties care to think, and bs like this is just going to backfire on 'em. Righties thinking women can't tell the difference between outrage and false outrage? Think again righties!

Even a discussion of the incident by women on FOX ended in the conclusion that the real issue is how professional women view stay-at-home mothers in much the same way as stay-at-home mothers view professionals... with varying levels of contempt, but with a dose of self-guilt thrown in. Both feel guilt that their choice of being either a professional or a stay-at-home mom may not have been the right choice for their family. The women on FOX news understood that the real issue is women's issue with themselves... not any manufactured (and false) issues the left is said to have with women, as in this story.

Not that the righties want people to understand that, knowing the truth would hurt their candidate. What they don't understand themselves is that people already know it's bs, and women don't appreciate the righties bs'in' them. Ultimately, it's a poor platform for the right to try to float on... they're gonna sinnnnnk lol

I believe if the Secret Service find Nugent's comments threatening, he'll be charged in the next few days. Wouldn't you think so, too?

If your point is that Nugent dodged the draft, I don't think anyone on the Left is in any position to lay blame upon him.. ahem.. Bill Clinton...

It's not about lefties laying blame, it's about the different views lefties and righties have on patriotism, and the hypocritical nature of righties. Clinton is a democrat, Nugent is a republican. Republicans generally frown on draft dodgers while democrats generally don't. From a republican stand-point, Nugent ...being a fellow republican... shouldn't have dodged the draft... but they are not saying that publically, and that's hypocritical.

I often get Ann Romney and June Cleaver mixed up.

    Both stay at home moms.

At least June did all of the housework herself.
