Liking your post has nothing to do with anything. You didnt make the thread to raise questions. You started the thread because you wanted to catch these two states with their pants down. You wanted everyone to know that the intellectual elitist blue states hate the military and everything you like. When told that hillbilly red states did the same thing, then you made it about right or wrong. Now youre getting all defensive and insulting because you could never have gaffed.

As the father of a navy daughter whom is overseas right this minute, I would be furious if that hapened to her. The fact that the US Justice Dept has stepped in helps.

 

Kinda funny how the conservatives here are bothered by this issue yet the lefties are full of excuses & easily dismiss it as no big deal.

 

The irony of this thread is that we have a Republican actually trying to complain at all about disenfranchising voters. Disenfranchising voters might as well be on the political platform of the GOP they have done it so often to minorities, women, and the poor. I think I'll just watch this Republican do some more backpedaling and try to deny he was saying that Democratic states were they only ones out of compliance with this new law. Yeah, irony and backpedaling...get your share right here. What a joke!

 

Can I ask is the US Justice Dept not one of President Obamas responsabilities? therfore is it not in fact a Democrat that is trying to get the votes for the troops (Of course in reality it makes no difference they shoudnt have to go to such measures)

Well, genius, that was the reason I started the thread in the first place...I was bothered by the dem leaders in IL & NY withholding ballots from our men & women serving overseas. The fact that you would rather pick a fight over it seems rather odd to me.
