Well...for one. Why should the "illegals" be held to any standards? The criminals that hire them certainly aren't. Secondly..the intent, or the purpose for which the majority of them come here in the first place, is a lot more "noble" than the ones hiring them and exploiting their labor. Republican hypocrisy shining through once again. Want to send them bacK? Well..ok...then how bout we see some jail time for their employers? Make that as big a deal as the right makes about them being here in the first place. Let's see that publicized for political gain.

 

So do you agree with "the Obama" that having borders is useless? Should be an easy one to answer.

I agree. So let's start making their apprehension and conviction paramount. Let's pass a law. Show us your payroll papers on demand, you lawbreaking perspective employers. The same scrutiny and political obsession should be given to the problem as is given to the illegal border crossers. I start seeing mass arrests of IA employers (obviously there are lots of them out there), then I'm on board with the dispensing of appropiate and equal justice.

Are you saying that is what Defines the American people David "It's Borders" !! I personaly thought it might have had something to do with it's Musical heritige, it's art, it's iconic buildings, the amazing people it has produced in many areas of life but if you say it is "It's Borders" then so be it

Isn't it beginning to look like everything he does is in an attempt to destroy the American way of life? That may not mean anything to some of you but I'm proud of our country, our freedoms & our traditions. To see this guy set out to wipe it all away is hard to stomach.

You didn't hear the part where "the Obama" stated "in the 21st century we are not defined by our borders". What exactly does that mean to you? If you look on any map, borders are the only way a country is defined. Without borders what is a country? Where does it start, where does it end? Blurred territories...maybe it's Mexico, maybe it's the US? No, not for me. I'm not a fan of this borderless North/Central/South American collective vision "the Obama" has. You only need look at Europe to see what is happening.

 

Try reading my post on that issue David, now tell me what borders he has abolished do they still have border security at your airports? how about Border crossings on your land border with Mexico?? No what you are saying is you would like to believe that is what he meant because it would vindicate your ideas on the man regardless of the truth

Where did I say he has abolished borders? You need to take better care when reading. He believes they don't matter...that is dead wrong, borderes do matter...maybe not to you but they do to me. If he gets his way then border security, etc will have to be eliminated.

Culture is important but so are borders. You may well consider "world citizenship" to be a lofty identitiy but not me..not most people. Perhaps it's a cultural thing that only Americans can relate to...you are probably just used to be a "European".

 

Did I hear that Obama is sending the national guard to help secure the border in Arizona? While the other idiot politicians in this country do things like boycott a state in crisis, at least Obama is trying to help them.
