Did you ever wonder if Trump groomed his daughter like Jeffrey Epstein groomed teenage girls? In case I wasn't clear, I was referring to incest. I don't honestly know if Trump is into incest but I also have seen his complete lack of respect for women and he is a narcissist devoid of compassion for others and I know of at least one other narcissist that was into incest. I just want to get that out there without a shred of evidence as an homage to Donald Trump.
Fox News pundits like Hannity and Trumpist mouthpieces like Senator Cruz are busy dripping poison into the ears of their followers with repeated lies about Republican election observers supposedly being excluded from the count in Pennsylvania. The "stolen election" narrative will continue for some time. On the other hand reality will also continue to exist, regardless of the monumental mendacity of the Trump camp. Unfortunately for the Trumpist narrative, lawyers in federal court are careful about what lies they tell, and in this case they admitted that there have been Republican election observers in attendance the entire time. The judge who dismissed the Trump lawsuit is a Bush appointee. I expect that's not good enough for many Trumpists, but apparently he's not ready to bow down to a wannabe dictator, even one with "R" after his name. I have Fox news playing on my radio today. I know you guys like to believe they are Trump clones.... Today I have heard two different talking heads be interviewed about potential voter fraud in Nevada and Pennsylvania. The Fox correspondents (Brett Baier & Martha MacCallum) shut them down hard demanding that they validate their fraud accusations. One of the fellow shut down was Newt Gingrich. He got so flustered that he couldn't speak...... Say what you will, but these Fox correspondents are not giving traction to the voter fraud angle of this thing. Probably not what you guys wanted to hear. But it is fact.
I'm with ya generally. 2 caveats here though, they are jumping ship (have been for a little while actually) and I've come to realize Fox News itself isn't THAT bad. They mostly "mislead" as some might say by omission of details, story choice, and general framing of events. The really egregious part about fox is the commentators like Hannity, Carlson, and Dobbs. That's not to say CNN and MSNBC don't also have those types of commentators. If we could do away with those types of programming, we'd probably be in a better place. Edit: also Newt Gingrich is insane. Fox had to shut him down the other week for going down George Soros rabbithole and accusing the hosts of not being aloud to talk about it.
I think if this election sends one very clear message.... There is no mandate left or right. And the time has come to set all that aside and re-learn how to compromise with one another and strive to accomplish something bigger and more important than ourselves.
I think you're right, especially with how down ballot races have turned and general turnout numbers. The only "mandate" I see clearly is one against Trump. For so many R votes to turn out nationwide but vote 3rd party on president gives me that impression.
I am well aware of the distinction between the news side of Fox News and the punditry side. It's clear that many Fox News viewers don't make such a distinction.
